Remember when people were speculating about a possible X-Men: Days of Future Past scene after The Amazing Spider-Man 2 credits? Well, if you left the theatre before the credits ended, you can watch the full clip here.

In this scene, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique infiltrates an Army camp where mutants are being held, possibly for testing or for other military purposes. She fights off the soldiers in a large tent and frees the mutants, including Havok who promptly asks, “Where’s Erik?” As Mystique walks from the tent, she replies, “I’m on my own now.”

Many people believed, before this clip was seen, that it was meant to lead to a possible X-Men/Spider-Man crossover film. Given what we’ve seen, it seems highly unlikely, though anything is possible. The clip would appear to be more of a promotional tool for the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past film, given the similar, if not identical audiences that follow the Spider-Man and the X-Men film franchises.
