"The Flash" Casts Wentworth Miller As A "Cold" Villain
Wentworth Miller has joined The CW's "The Flash" as the ice villain, Captain Cold.

Prison Break star, Wentworth Miller, is coming to Central City!

TV Line reports that Miller has been cast in the upcoming CW series, The Flash. Miller will join the series in episode 4 as Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold (who does not sound very welcoming).

The news that Miller was joining the highly-anticipated series was announced on Friday during the series’ panel at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. The stars of the show, along with the executive producers, were all in attendance to catch a special preview of the upcoming series.

The Flash is “probably the most faithful DC Comics adaptation ever,” said Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment, Geoff Johns.

As fans already know (or should know), The Flash is a spinoff of the hugely successful CW series, Arrow. “We weren’t looking to do the same show twice,” said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. “We weren’t looking for the same kind of hero that Stephen [Amell] portrays. We wanted someone more normal, who had greatness thrust upon them.”

The Flash is schedule to premiered on October 7, 2014 on The CW.

Are you happy that Wentworth Miller has joined the cast as a villain?
