"The Simpsons" Is Going Online And Getting A 12-Day Long Marathon
FXX has plans to put every single episode of "The Simpsons" online and then stream a 12-day long marathon of the animated show.

The Simpsons fans better get ready for a serious overload of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.

FXX has plans to launch “Simpsons World,” which will allow fans of the animated series to view every episode via their computer, iPhone, Xbox, on the FXNOW app. Not only will you have the luxury of every episode, right at your fingertips, but you can also search for specific quotes, create personal playlists, and share your favourite Simpsons moments.

Executive producer Al Jean jokingly said, “I don’t want to over-promise, but this website can provide you with affordable health care.”

Entertainment Weekly also reported, back in April, that FXX, the company which acquired exclusive cable rights for The Simpsons reruns, was planning on airing the longest marathon in history. Over the course of 12 days, they will air every single episode of The Simpsons plus The Simpsons Movie. The marathon will consist of 522 episodes and will run for 224 hours a day, starting on August 21.
