We reported back in June that Nickelodeon has plans for a brand new video game for The Legend of Korra. They were even giving fans the opportunity to vote on which cover design they liked best. Today, they revealed the winner.
The new cover art, released on The Legend of Korra Facebook page, sees Korra bending all four elements in front of what looks like a spirit portal. She looks like she’s ready for a fight.
From what we’ve learned, it seems the game is being developed by PlatinumGames. It will be published by Activision, who’s logo is displayed on the bottom-right corner of the design. Expected to be released this fall, the game will be available via digital download for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. Users will be able to play as Korra in third-person action and use her bending powers to battle enemies and powerful foes, like Mecha Tanks and those nasty Chi Blockers. You’ll also have the opportunity to do battle in the 3-on-3 Pro Bending arena.
The Legend of Korra game, written by Tim Hendrick, is expected to take place between seasons 2 and 3.
