Avatar Korra Gets A New Look For "The Legend of Korra" Book 4: Balance
Nickelodeon has released a brand new image of Avatar Korra's new look for "The Legend of Korra" Book 4: Balance!

A new image of Korra has been released that depicts the spunky and tough Avatar that we’ve all come to know and love.

Along with an announcement about Nickelodeon hosting a The Legend of Korra panel at New York Comic Con on October 9, Korra Nation also released a new image of Avatar Korra.

Series co-creator, Bryan Konietzko, reblogged the post adding “BEHOLD: NEW HAIR! Korra’s design gets backs to its roots in Book 4, with a bob cut like the one Joaquim did in his original concept of her. It wouldn’t be the Avatarverse without some hairstyle changes, now would it?”

BEHOLD: NEW HAIR! Korra’s design gets backs to its roots in Book 4, with a bob cut like the one Joaquim did in his original concept of her. It wouldn’t be the Avatarverse without some hairstyle changes, now would it?

Is Korra harder after what she went through during the end of Book 3: Change or is this just the rough and tumble Avatar getting back into action? One thing’s for sure, however: her new hair looks amazing!

The image, according to Konietzko, was a collaborate effort between himself, Joaquim Do Santos, Laura Zurcher, and Studio Mir (the company who animated the entire Book 3).

It was recently revealed that season 4 of The Legend of Korra will be called “Book 4: Balance” and that it will premiere sooner than fans expected: October 3! Plus, fans can get their hands on the Blu-ray and DVD sets of Book 3: Change on December 2!

What do you think of Korra’s new look for Book 4?
