"The Legend of Korra" Book 4, Episode 2 Clip: "Korra Alone"
A newly released clip for "The Legend of Korra" Book 4, episode 2 "Korra Alone" gives us a clue as to Korra's current state of mind.

The title and a new clip have been released for The Legend of Korra Book 4, episode 2 and tease Korra’s emotional, mental, and physical anguish.

The clip was previously released early in September but has now been released again, along with episode 2’s taunting title: “Korra Alone.”

The title is throwback to the episode in Avatar: The Last Airbender Book 2 called “Zuko Alone” in which an entire episode was dedicated to Prince Zuko’s search for balance and courage within his own life.

As Book 3 began to come to an end and Korra needed a plan to face the Red Lotus, she turned to an elderly Zuko for advice. Perhaps she’ll seek him out once again as a result of her own personal quest.

The clip is a flashback to a time when Korra was still recovering from her fight with Zaheer, just as her parents and her are ready to board a ship to head back to the Southern Water Tribe:

At the end of Book 4’s premiere episode, we learn from Tonraq’s arrival that Korra has been lying to her family about her whereabouts. While she made her parents believe that she was in Republic City for the past few months, Team Avatar assumed that she was still in the Southern Water Tribe.

The clip above shows that Korra only planned to be away from her friends for a few weeks, which makes us wonder what caused her to run away? Of course she’s most likely in search of “Balance” but what was the final trigger that caused her to abandon her family and friends and take off?

The Legend of Korra Book 4, episode 2 “Korra Alone” will premiere Friday, October 10 on Nick.com.
