New clips have been released for "Once Upon a Time" season 4, episode 3 "Rocky Road" that tease the upcoming "frozen" struggles that Storybrooke will face!

A new clip for Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 3 “Rocky Road” has been released and showcases Mary Margert’s current and upcoming struggles as the new mayor of Storybrooke.

In the clip, Mary Margaret, with baby Neal cradled in one arm, welcomes various residents of Storybrooke to their first “Mayor’s Fireside Chat.” She insists that she wants everyone to feel welcome and to know that they have a voice. While she tries to stick to her pre-planned agenda, her guests are more interested in the recent appearance of Elsa and her ice magic. Before any real questions can be answered, one of the guests collapses:

The official synopsis for season 4, episode 3 reads:

“When an icy spell is cast on Marian, which will ultimately freeze her heart and kill her, the Storybrooke residents place the blame on Elsa. But unbeknownst to anyone, a mysterious woman who runs the town’s ice cream parlor has the same powers as Elsa and is trying to frame her. Emma and David find former Merry Men member Will Scarlet rummaging through Robin Hood’s tent, Regina teams up with Henry to try and discover who the author of the fairy tale book is, Mary Margaret is having trouble balancing her duties as leader of Storybrooke and mother to young Prince Neal, and Hook begins to suspect that Mr. Gold is still in control of the dagger that calls upon him to be the Dark One.”

A new promo was also released that further elaborates on Elsa and the Snow Queen’s plot line from the synopsis. Will Elsa be able to use her magic to overcome the Snow Queen and save Marian before it’s too late?

Once Upon a Time season 4, episode 2 “Ricky Road” airs Sunday, October 12 at 8PM EST on ABC.
