New clips and photos released for Reign season 2, episode 2 “Drawn and Quartered”tease the growing tension within French court now that the black plague has returned to France.
In the new photos, Greer seems to still be struggling with her feelings for Leith, Mary is determined to be a kinder queen than Catherine, and Bash does some investigating within the castle.
The first clip below is a scene in which a nobleman confronts Mary, Francis, and Catherine about the death of his son. He accuses Nostradamus of having a hand in his son’s wrongful diagnosis. The second clip is a trailer for episode 2 and show’s the drama that is to ensue when loyalties and love are tested:

MARY SUFFERS THE CONSEQUENCES OF HER ACTIONS – In the aftermath of the plague, a powerful lord (guest star Craig Parker) discovers that Mary (Adelaide Kane) was responsible for the death of his son and demands vengeance, testing the loyalties of Mary, Francis (Toby Regbo) and Catherine (Megan Follows). Francis returns to the castle with Lola (Anna Popplewell) and their newborn son, creating tension with Mary. Greer (Celina Sinden) is torn by her loyalty to her fiancé, Lord Castleroy (guest star Michael Therriault), who blames Leith (Jonathan Keltz) for his daughter’s demise. Meanwhile, Kenna (Caitlin Stasey) urges Bash (Torrance Coombs) to be formally recognized in his new role.
