On "The Mindy Project" season 5, episode 3 "The Devil Wears Lands' End," Peter and Jeremy put their differences aside to compete in a game of beer pong.

In new photos released from The Mindy Project season 3, episode 5 “The Devil Wears Lands’ End,” Peter and Jeremy visit Dartmouth College for a reunion while Danny and Mindy try to reason with the new hospital head of obstetrics.

It would seem that recent rivals, Jeremy and Peter, have put their differences aside in order to take part in, what appears to be, an epic game of beer pong.

Episode 5 will also mark the first (and probably only) appearance of Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes. The synopsis elaborates more on her role:

“Mindy gets herself and Danny into trouble when she tries to fix the practice’s image in the eyes of the hospital’s new head of obstetrics. Meanwhile, Peter puts his grudge against Jeremy aside when he discovers that his colleague’s beer pong skills could help him beat TV creator Shonda Rhimes (guest-starring as herself), the reigning Dartmouth Alumni Match champion in the all-new “The Devil Wears Lands’ End” episode of The Mindy Project.”

While season 3 has been amazing so far, it’s nice to see that an episode will see some character development amongst the other cast. So much of the current season has already focused on Mindy and Danny’s new relationship, that characters like Jeremy, Peter, Morgan, Tamra, and even Beverly, have been seriously lacking.

The Mindy Project season 3, episode 5 “The Devil Wears Lands’ End” will air on Thursday, October 14 at 9:30PM on Fox.

Are you excited to see Shonda Rhimes make her “The Mindy Project” debut?
