On Wednesday, The Big Bang Theory star, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, received the 2,532nd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!
At the unveiling ceremony, which she attended with her husband, Ryan, Cuoco-Sweeting was quoted as saying, “I’ve “I’ve been doing this for my whole life, I mean really 20 plus years. It’s heartwarming to me to be recognized for something that I feel like is so a part of me. It’s like my arm. It’s always been me. There’s nothing else I’ve ever known and there’s nothing else I’ve loved so much.”
Besides The Big Bang Theory, for which she recently signed a $90 million dollar, three year deal, Cuoco-Sweeting is also known for her starring roles on 8 Simple Rules and the final season of Charmed.
The 28-year-old actress requested that her star be placed near the star of the late John Ritter, with whom she starred on 8 Simple Rules. “What a dream to have my [star]next to my sweet John Ritter,” the actress wrote on Instagram Wednesday night. “I think he’s doing a little dance right now! I’m definitely being looked after.”
Chuck Lorre, creator of The Big Bang Theory creator, also chimed in on Cuoco-Sweeting’s successing, adding that she “makes it a joy to come to work. We laugh a lot when we make the show. And this is a testament to that hard work and that dedication.”
The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8PM EST on CBS.
