Cara Delevingne is serious about making the jump from international supermodel to international movie star, especially if these latest rumours are to be believed.

Recent reports are suggesting that Delevingne is being considered for the role of villain, Harley Quinn, in the upcoming DC Suicide Squad film.

Earlier in October, Delevingne posted a picture to her Instagram of her dressed up as the famous Batman villain and Joker accomplice:

Most recently, Delevingne was cast as Margo in the film adaption of John Green‘s best-selling novel, Paper Towns.

Other actors being considered for roles in the film include Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, and Will Smith. Jesse Eisenberg will reprise his Batman v Superman role as Lex Luthor.

If Delevingne is able to pull off such an unpredictable and unstable character as Harley Quinn, then skeptics will have no choice but to take her seriously as a legitimate actor.

As of now, Suicide Squad is scheduled to be released in August 2016.

Do you think Cara Delevingne is the right choice to play Harley Quinn?
