"Toy Story 4" Is Coming To Theatres In 2017
Disney has announced that "Toy Story 4" is in the works and will arrive in theatres in 2017!

Though many people were unsure if it would ever happened, it has now been confirmed that Toy Story 4 is coming!

The story for the film was developed by John Lasseter, Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), and Pete Docter (Monster’s Inc.), and Lee Unkrich (Toy Story 3). Perhaps the most interesting addition to the announcement, however, is that the film will be written by Parks and Recreation star, Rashida Jones, along with her screenwriting partner, Will McCormack.

“We love these characters so much, they are like family to us,” Lasseter said in a statement. “We don’t want to do anything with them unless it lives up to or surpasses what’s gone before.” He’s addressing, of course, the worry that many fans share that the Toy Story 4 might negate the perfect ending to the series that Toy Story 3 delivered.

There’s been no word yet as to whether Tim Allen, Tom Hanks, Joan Cusack, or any other voice actors will be returning. However, it’s hard to even imagine a Toy Story film that doesn’t include the incredible talent from the past 3 films.

The franchise has been a huge success for Disney, with the Toy Story, the first film in the series, bringing in over $361 million worldwide, Toy Story 2 bringing in $458 million worldwide, and Toy Story 3 bringing in an astounding $1.063 billion worldwide!

Toy Story 4 is set to hit theatres on June 16, 2017!
