Jennifer Lawrence Will Never Join Twitter: "The Internet Has Scorned Me"
Jennifer Lawrence recently spoke about how the internet has "scorned" her. Don't expect to see "The Hunger Games" on Twitter anytime soon.

If you’ve ever dropped to your knees and prayed to the heavens above that Jennifer Lawrence will one day join Instagram or Twitter, then stop what you’re doing, because it isn’t going to happen.

Lawrence recently spoke with Radio 1 Breakfast Show host, Nick Grimshaw, about social media. “I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me,” she said. “I don’t really understand what it is, it’s like this weird enigma that people talk about.”

Lawrence’s relationship with the internet has been very has changed a lot since the photo leak that took place back in September in which she, and other female celebrities, were targeted by a hacker who released their private photos online. “Because the internet has scorned me so much, I feel like it’s that girl in high school that I’m like ‘Oh you want to talk about her? Yeah I’ll do that’.”

However, no amount of hacks can ever take away Lawrence’s title as the Queen of Tumblr, where fans of The Hunger Games actress go wild with GIFs and memes every time she gives another hilarious interview. She’s known for her light-hearted sense of humour and her candid discussions about her love for food and sweatpants. Fans find it refreshing that Lawrence is so open about her off-screen behaviour and doesn’t try to present herself as the perfect Hollywood starlet who never poops.

Never say never in Hollywood, but at this point, it would seem like Lawrence has made up her mind about joining social media. “If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it’s me, it most certainly is not me,” she said.

Do you think Jennifer Lawrence will ever find her way to social media?
