Kathy Griffin and Brad Goreski have joined E!’s Fashion Police and will make their debut in 2015.
Griffin is being brought on to fill Joan Rivers‘ shoes as host after the comedian’s untimely passing back in September after complications from surgery. Griffin is best known for her reality show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, for which she won two Emmy Awards, and her two-season talk show, Kathy. She has also written a book, Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin, which debuted at number 1 on the New York Time’s Bestseller List, and co-hosted CNN’s New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper since 2007.
In a statement, Griffin spoke about her excitement towards joining the E! program:
“I get it! These are some big shoes I’m going to fill. Joan was truly one of a kind. Now I hope you will accept me for me. I’m just Kathy. Did I say I’m just Kathy? I meant I’m Kathy F***ing Griffin and you celebrities better strap yourself in, as I am taking no prisoners. I am not holding back so DAMMIT let’s have some fun!”
Griffin will join returning panelists Kelly Osbourne and Giuliana Rancic. George Kotsiopoulos will not be returning. Taking his place will be stylist and reality star, Brad Goreski.
Goreski, who is perhaps best known for her his appearances on The Rachel Zoe Project and his own Bravo series, It’s a Brad, Brad World, took to his Twitter to announce the news, saying, “I am SO excited to be joining @kathygriffin, @GiulianaRancic and @KellyOsbourne on @e_FashionPolice! Can’t wait to break it all down!!”
