"House of Cards" Season 3 Premiere Date Set, Teaser Trailer Released
Netflix announced the premiere date of "House of Cards" season 3 and released a brand new teaser trailer to get fans excited for Frank and Claire's return.

Netflix has announced the premiere date for House of Cards season 3 and released a brand new teaser trailer to get fans excited for Frank (Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwood’s (Robin Wright) return.

The popular streaming site made the announcement via the House of Cards Twitter when they posted the teaser video, below, with this message: “A special message from the White House.”

In the teaser video, we see Frank and Claire walking, in slow motion, up the steps of Air Force One (you can tell because of the Presidential Seal right above the window). Now that Frank is President, he gets fun perks like this. Near the end of the video, Frank slowly turns his head and looks right through a plane window at the camera.

Fans of the show have come to know Frank’s signature move – breaking the fourth wall and talking directly to them. This moment in the teaser is paying homage to that and only serving to excite regular viewers even more.

Now that Frank is Commander-in-Chief and Claire is the First Lady, what do they have planned for the United States and the world? It took Frank only two season to move from Democratic Majority Whip to the most powerful office in the world. There’s no telling what he might do next.

House of Cards season 3 will premiere on February 27, 2015. Like the did for the first two seasons, it’s likely that Netflix will release all of season 3’s episodes at once.
