The nominees for the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards were announced Thursday morning at a ceremony in Beverly Hills.

You know award season is truly upon us when the Golden Globe nominations are announced!

Kate Beckinsale, Peter Krause, Paula Patton, and Jeremy Piven announced the nominees for the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards Thursday morning.

Leading the nominations this year is Birdman, racking up an impressive total of 7 nominations, while Fargo, Boyhood, and The Imitation Game each received five.

Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will be returning to host for the third time in a row! Say what you want about the Golden Globes, but it’s undeniable that Poehler and Fey’s comedic timing and pairing is absolutely spot on and always makes the show much more entertaining.
