Fox has released the recording of Lea Michele singing “Let It Go” as well as brand new stills from Glee‘s upcoming sixth and final season.
We’ve known for a while that Michele would be taking on the Frozen hit, originally performed in the film by Idina Menzel, who, coincidentally, also plays her biological mother on Glee. We got a hint of the song in a trailer that was released last week, but this is the first time we’re hearing the song in its entirety. It’s safe to say that “Let It Go” is in good hands with Michele.

Plus, make sure to check out these new stills of the original Glee cast returning to their roots at McKinley High School. Rachel and Kurt have returned to bring back the glee club while, from the looks of it, Brittany, Santana, and Quinn might be taking on a similar project with the Cheerios:
While apparently rumours of a potential “Blaine/Karofsky” relationship have been circling for a while, this is the first time it’s been brought to my attention. If there were ever questions about this ironic relationship before, there are bound to be some now.
I will say, however, that in the picture which features Kurt talking to a handsy Karofsky and Blaine, Blaine looks mighty uncomfortable to have Kurt’s former tormentor touching him. Maybe this is another of Karofsky’s one-sided crushes?
It’s refreshing to see Dianna Agron back as Quinn – hopefully in a much more prominent role than she had during season’s 4 and 5. I will always say that the biggest reason Glee went so far south after season 3 is because they basically discarded too many of their popular main characters and expected fans to fall in love with less-likeable, younger versions of them.
Glee will premiere with two episodes on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 8PM EST on Fox. After that, it will move to the 9PM time slot and run for 10 consecutive weeks before coming to an end in March.
What do you think of Lea Michele’s version of “Let It Go”? Are you excited to see so many original cast members back for season 6?
