"Fifty Shades of Grey" Film Won't Include Book's Most Talked-About Scene
"Fifty Shades of Grey" director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, recently spoke about which infamous scene from the book won't appear in the film!

If you’ve read Fifty Shades of Grey, then you’re likely familiar with some of its more notable scenes. Well, one of those scenes – perhaps one of the most talked-about, in fact – won’t be seen in the film.

Sam Taylor-Johnson, the film’s director, recently told Variety that the film will not include the scene in which Christian removes Ana’s tampon so that the two of them can have sex.

Um… ew!

“It was never even discussed,” Taylor-Johnson revealed.

The cut was likely a result of the creative team’s efforts to tone down the amount of sex scenes. While the story is known for just that, Taylor-Johnson noted that “On the early draft, there was a sense there was way too much sex. The story, of course, is of equal importance. We tried to balance the narrative correctly, so one doesn’t feel like it’s drowning the other.”

Fifty Shades of Grey, starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, will open in theatres February 13, 2015.
