Olivia Munn Joins "X-Men: Apocalypse" As Psylocke
Olivia Munn has joined the Bryan Singer directed "X-Men: Apocalypse" movie as telekinetic mutant, Psylocke.

The cast of X-Men: Apocalypse just keeps on growing – this time with the addition of Olivia Munn as Betsy Braddock aka Psylocke.

The film’s director, Bryan Singer, took to Twitter and Instagram to share the recent casting news:

In the Marvel Universe, Psylocke is a powerful mutant who, as the twin of Captain Britain, was initially a precognitive and later a telepath. Somehow, after acquiring the body and skills of Kwannon, she acquired Jean Grey’s telekinesis.

New additions to the X-Men film franchise include Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers (Cyclops), Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Alexandra Shipp as Ororo Munroe (Storm), Kodi Smit-McPhee as Kurt Wagner (Nightcrawler), Ben Hardy as Warren Worthington III (Angel), and Lana Condor as Jubilee).

The film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 27, 2016.
