The first teaser for Netflix’s Fuller House has just arrived and, as a family, we’re going to need a whole bunch of tissues because this shit is emotional.
The teaser is only 1 minute and 15 seconds, but it packs a doozy. None of the characters we’ve loved can be seen, but their familiar voices are heard as the family, including Uncle Jesse, Joey, Stephanie, and Aunt Becky (but no Michelle, sadly), help DJ and her kids unpack the car.
Watch the “Fuller House” teaser below:
The house we all grew up in (am I right?) still looks much like it did back during the Full House days, but with a few small upgrades to reflect the 20 years that have past since the original series ended.
An adorable dog is sitting in the spacious living room as the camera enters the family home. As soon as voices are heard outside, the pup races to the front door, eager to see his homecoming family. Could this dog be a relative of Comet’s?
The entire trailer is set to Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me” and while I never expected a country song to accompany anything Fuller House, I must say that it is a great addition and very fitting considering the subject matter of the show.
Fuller House hits Netflix on February 26, 2016. Pack your bags, everyone. It’s time to head back home to San Francisco.
