When the 'Gilmore Girls' revival premieres, will someone be pregnant?

The highly-anticipated Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix is nearing its premiere date and people can barely contain themselves. Every so often, a piece of information or a possible spoiler circulates the Internet and fans of the show start frothing at the mouth.

Please don’t think I’m being sarcastic or criticizing these people, because I am absolutely, 100% one of them.

If you’re curious to know what the latest piece of Gilmore Girls spoiler-ish news is, it all started with a simple photo posted to the show’s Instagram account:

Pop-Tart appetizers to hold us over 'till the pizza comes. And one apple.

The photo shows a plate of Pop-Tarts with an apple in the middle (for nutrition, probably). Of course, those sugary “breakfast” pastries were a stable in the Gilmore household. What’s interesting, however, is the presence of the apple and how Lorelai (Lauren Graham) once admitted to craving apples relentlessly when she was pregnant with Rory (Alexis Bledel). Coincidence? Could be.

Only question is, is Lorelai pregnant or is her predisposition for pregnancy apples hereditary and something she passed on to Rory?

Recently, Milo Ventimiglia, who played Jess Mariano, attended the Wizard World Chicago and was asked about the photo. He quickly admitted that he had absolutely no idea.

“Here is something that you should know about me, I haven’t seen the show in 13 years,” Milo said. “I don’t know about Pop-Tarts, I know about poodles. ‘Oy with the poodles!’ But Jess didn’t really say much, or eat a lot of Pop tarts. I know he mixed salt and pepper with his fries. I don’t know, man.”

He then followed up by saying, “By the way, I’m not telling you anything. You really want to know? No you don’t. You don’t want to know anything.”

I find it hard to believe, in any way, that one of the show’s stars, who is appearing in the revival, doesn’t know key plot points this close to the premiere. You’re fooling no one, Ventimiglia.
