Fuller House is coming back for season 2, of course. But, the real kicker is that it’s coming back way sooner than most people anticipated.
On Wednesday, Candace Cameron Bure, who plays D.J. Tanner, announced on The View that the Full House spinoff series will return for its second season on December 9, 2016.
“I’m super excited our season this year is very holiday themed. We have a Halloween show, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, and lots of family,” she said.
The new poster released with the announcement sees the family sitting in that iconic San Francisco setting for a good ol’ Tanner picnic:
I’m definitely on board for a Netflix show that doesn’t release a new season once every 12 months. Though Fuller House was just as corny as its predecessor, it had its moments. Which means you probably won’t be seeing a lot of me on its premiere date.
Fuller House also stars Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, Michael Campion, Elias Harger, Soni Nicole Bringas, and Dashiell and Fox Messitt. Original Full House stars Lori Loughlin, Dave Coulier, Bob Saget, and John Stamos are all set to make appearances as well.
