In Black Widow: Forever Red by Margaret Stohl, Natasha Romanoff is perhaps the world’s most deadly assassin. Highly trained from a very young age, Natasha was later given the code name Black Widow by Ivan Somodorov, her ruthelss teacher at the training academy, Red Room, in Moscow. Her connection with Ava Orlova, the daughter of a Russian quantum physicist and the victim of brutal military experiments, leads her on a heart-pounding quest to find answers long-ago forgotten.

Now, Natasha is back for more action in Black Widow: Red Vengeance. Accompanied by Ava, also known as Red Widow, the two search South America in order to take down a smuggling operation, only to be targeted for assassination themselves by the Red Room. To save themselves and those they care about, the Widows will take their mission around the world.

Nothing is as it seems, no one can be trusted, and no one is safe – not unless the Widows can stop a conspiracy involving stolen nuclear warheads, mind-altering chemical weapons, and ultimately, betrayal by old friends and enemies alike.

While you’re waiting to find out if you’ve won (my fingers and toes are definitely crossed for you) just remember how kick-ass Black Widow was in the Marvel movies. There was a lot of high-flying acrobatics, punching and kicking like no other, and perfectly-timed attitude:
