More Empire, more Cookie – I can definitely live with that. Fox announced Wednesday that the hit series would be back for an 18-episode fourth season.

The renewal announcement came at the beginning of Fox’s portion of The Television Critics Association winter press tour, according to TVLine.

There’s no denying Empire’s unstoppable power. It currently stands as broadcast TV’s number 1 drama in the 18-49 demographic, which is a position it has held onto since its season 1 premiere.

In 2016, Taraji P. Henson won a Golden Globe Award for “Best Actress – Television Series Drama” for her role as Cookie Lyon, matriarch of the Lyon empire. That same year, the show itself was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for “Best Television Series – Drama.”

Empire season 3 returns from its winter hiatus on Wednesday, March 22 at 9/8c.
