About The Legend of Korra
The Legend of Korra, created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko ran for four seasons – Book 1: Air, Book 2: Spirits, Book 3: Change, and Book 4: Balance. The series followed teenaged Avatar Korra as she learned to master all four elements as only the Avatar could, all while protecting the world from an onslaught of threats and struggling to maintain balance in a world constantly changing and evolving.
Throughout the show’s run, Korra comes up against an array of villains, each with their own set of skills and unique powers. Each villain, ultimately, teaches Korra something about herself. Her struggle for peace is not her own, however. Near the beginning of her journey, and throughout its evolution, she’s joined by a host of colourful characters, including airbending master Tenzin, his children, Jinora, Ikki, Meelo, and Rohan, brothers Bolin and Mako, future love interest Asami Sato, chief of police Lin Beifong, and more.
