TOP 10 Upcoming Games For Android

So, it’s all about games. Some say it is a habit. But for me, it’s an addiction, a good one. We must have millions of games, on PCs and androids. Still then, we eagerly at for companies to launch new ones. And they don’t let us down either. For example, people were fed up playing Mini Militia, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale etc. and at the moment, PUBG, PUBG mobile, and Fortnite entered with a bang. So, as we still are waiting to see new games, I am going to list 10 Upcoming Android Games which include racing, arcade, adventure etc.

TOP 10 Upcoming Games For Android

For all these games, you will have to pre-register. And for more information about the game, check out the trailer on YouTube. Both links will be provided.

Here are they –

1- Command & Conquer: Rivals

Developed by Electronic Arts (EA), Command & Conquer: Rivals is a real-time strategy game that plays like Clash Royale, with the exception that you are in constant control of your troops. You can customize your army with things like infantry units, vehicles, and even a commander. You have to choose the commander wisely, as each one has unique abilities that play a major role in every battle.

In Command & Conquer: Rivals, you start off with a mobile construction vehicle that deploys and slowly collects Tiberium. You then use that Tiberium to build buildings and send units onto the battlefield, where the goal is to take control of two out of three zones. If you are able to hold them for a certain amount of time, a powerful nuclear missile will be sent toward the enemy command center.

Command & Conquer: Rivals will be a free-to-play title, although we expect that in-app purchases will be available. It’s already listed on the Play Store, where you can sign up to get notified once it goes live.

2- The Elder Scrolls: Blades:

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is a first-person role-playing game. You take on the role of one of the members of the Blades who, after being forced into exile, must restore their hometown from the rubble. You can create and customize your city, take on friends and rivals in epic one-on-one battles, discover unique weapons, armor, and abilities, and much more.

The developer has released a trailer (above), which looks gorgeous. The light glimmers realistically off the swords and shields, while the small details in the dungeons, castles, and mountains that make up the background of the game keep things suitably atmospheric. The environments rendered in the game are said to be console quality.

The Elder Scrolls: Blades is coming sometime this fall and will be free-to-play. We assume the title will offer plenty of in-app purchases, although this has not been confirmed yet. The game is already listed on the Play Store, where you can sign up to get notified once it goes live.

3- Brawl Stars:

Brawl Stars is an upcoming Android title from the makers of Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. It’s a multiplayer combat game where teams of three face off against each other. There are few different game modes available including Gem Grab, where you have to collect gems while fighting the opposing team — first team to collect 10 gems and hold onto them wins.

Then there’s Heist in which you have to crack the safe protected by the opposing team and then defend your valuables, the Bounty mode that revolves around collecting stars for your team by eliminating opponents, and more. You can also unlock different characters with super abilities in the game and customize them with various skins.

Brawl Starts is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. The game has already soft launched in a few countries, with the U.S. not being one of them. As of now, there’s no word on when it will officially be released globally.

4- Project Cars GO –

If you are a racing lover, this is for you. Project Cars, a popular racing game released on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, is getting a mobile spin-off. Called Project Cars GO, it will come with loads of exotic cars and tons of customization options, just like the PC and console versions.

Project Cars is known for offering an authentic racing experience, and the mobile version promises just that. The game has sold over two million copies worldwide so far and is one of the best of its kind in my opinion.

Gamevil and Slightly Mad Studios are developing the game, but there’s no word on the release date. Slightly Mad Studios CEO Ian Bell said racing fans will be  “stomping the gas pedal and burning rubber very soon,” which makes us think it won’t be long until Project Cars GO makes its debut. When it does, it will give all the other titles on our list of best upcoming Android games a run for their money.

5- Assassin’s Creed Rebellion –

Assassin’s Creed has been a favorite movie of everyone, and it’s games are badass as well. The new one, developed by Ubisoft and named Assassin’s Creed Rebellion, is a strategy game with RPG elements. It takes place in Spain, where you control a fortress of the Assassin Brotherhood, leading a team of assassins.

You can build new rooms in the fortress, make new equipment, and even create medicine. You can also team up with more than 40 characters including Ezio, Shao Jun, and Aguilar, train and upgrade them, and send them on missions throughout the country. These missions can get you DNA fragments which can unlock new assassins, resources for better equipment, and more.

The free-to-play title has already soft-launched in a few countries including New Zealand and the Philippines. Unfortunately, there’s no word on when it will be available globally.

 6- Oddmar:

This action-adventure game stars a lazy, selfish Viking called Oddmar who is on a mission to burn down a forest. If he fails, he may be kicked out of his tribe.

The game features 24 levels riddled with traps and other obstacles. There are various magic mushrooms available which give Oddmar special powers, allowing him to more easily overcome challenges. The game looks like a lot of fun and has gorgeous graphics. Check it out in the short trailer above.

Oddmar is already available on iOS and has received great reviews so far. It’s not the cheapest game you can get, as it will set you back $5. The price will likely be the same once the title hits Android devices, although this hasn’t been confirmed yet. An exact release date remains a mystery for now.

7- Harry Potter: Wizards Unite :

Harry Potter games have always amazed people, just like the films. And the new one will too. Pokémon Go developer Niantic Labs’ new title is Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The upcoming AR game is being developed in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Players will “learn spells, explore their real-world neighborhoods and cities to discover [and] fight legendary beasts, and team up with others to take down powerful enemies.”

No other details are known about the game at this point. Based on the success of the company’s previous titles and the popularity of Harry Potter, it could be one of the best upcoming Android games of the year.

It doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but you can sign up on the game’s official website to get notified when it launches.

8- Levelhead:

It’s a 2D platformer that lets you build your own levels and then publish them for everyone to play. You can use more than 60 elements to get the job done including enemies, hazards, paths, switches, secrets, power-ups, and more.

It’s a cross-platform game, which means the levels created on Android can also be played on PC and iOS — and vice versa. Up to four people can play a level at once and can even create levels together. If you’re not into that, you can opt for the single-player campaign in which you take control of GR-18 — a delivery robot in-training. As I saw in the trailer, Levelhead looks like a lot of fun if you’re into platformer games. It’s expected to be released in November and will be available for PC, iOS, and Nintendo Switch — in addition to Android.

9- PAYDAY: Crime War

Already a popular first-person shooter on PC and consoles, Payday is coming to Android. Payday Crime War is a multiplayer, team-based PvP title where two teams go head to head. One team takes on the role of criminals trying to perform a robbery. The other team steps into the shoes of a SWAT team trying to prevent the crime.

Up to eight players can take part in a match, which can take place in different locations. As you progress through the game, you can get new weapons and additional abilities to step up your game.

Developer Overkill Software has set up a website for the upcoming game, claiming it’s coming soon. An exact date has not been shared with the public yet. However, the bomb is that you can already sign up for the closed beta to try out the game before it officially launches — hit the button below if you’re interested.

10- F1 Mobile Racing:

Another racing instinct on the list? Yep. Codemasters has teamed up with Eden Games and is developing a mobile version of its Formula 1 game. Officially called F1 Mobile Racing, the free-to-play title will feature all the teams, cars, and circuits of the 2018 Formula 1 championship.

For the first time ever, players will be able to develop and customize their own F1 car. This includes choosing the color of the car as well as other parts to make it drive faster, stop quicker, and so on. Check out the trailer released by Codemasters above to see how the game looks like in real life.

The developer said the game will be released this year, but did not share an exact date. It will launch on iOS first and make its way to Android shortly after.

Wings use dominant third quarter to blow by Lynx

Wings use dominant third quarter to blow by Lynx

“Exactly right.”

Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve didn’t hold back on what she thinks of her team’s 1-6 record to start the season after another loss on Saturday.

Minnesota fell to Dallas 94-78 when the Lynx turned a halftime lead into a 15-point deficit after the third quarter.

“There’s always a quarter,” Reeve said. “Until you find a defensive identity and you play with some toughness, you don’t get out-worked, this is going to be the result.”

It was a tale of two halves for the Lynx. The first quarter ended with Minnesota holding a five-point lead. Though the second quarter wasn’t as strong, the Lynx still went to halftime with a two-point lead.

The third quarter was where everything changed as Dallas’ offense took control.

“For us, we just need to get in the gym and we need to get better together at playing together, moving together and putting in the effort to get stops,” starting forward Jessica Shepard said.

Minnesota was outscored by 17 points in the third quarter alone. The Wings’ 36 points in that frame tied the most points against in any quarter this season for the Lynx. On May 10, the Lynx surrendered 36 points in the second quarter in a loss to Indiana.

The biggest trend leading to Dallas’ surge in the third quarter was a sudden turnaround in shooting percentage. For much of the first half, the Wings had a shooting percentage around 35 percent. As the fourth quarter expired, they had ballooned that percentage to just under 50 percent for the game — 46.6 percent.

They were able to take so many shots because of the Lynx faltered on the defensive glass.

While the Lynx got just four offensive rebounds, the Wings took control off their own shots and collected 15 offensive boards. Even on a night when Minnesota got 20 defensive rebounds on its own, Dallas nearly met that total in its favor on the offensive glass.

“We talked about that it would be more challenging to go get rebounds, but we certainly wanted to keep them off the glass,” Reeve said. “That was a priority, probably couldn’t tell.”

Things remained mostly even in the fourth quarter, but the damage had already been done in the third as Minnesota was thwarted by Dallas’ quick-paced attack and explosive offense.

On the other end, Minnesota didn’t capitalize on its own shots, missing points from much of the offense. All five starters had at least 12 points in the loss, but it still all came back to defensive cohesion.

“Honestly, it’s trust, and helping each other,” starting guard Moriah Jefferson said. “We have to make sure we’re in our schemes … that comes from trust, that comes from chemistry. We’re going to be better, I’m going to make sure of that.”

Even in 6-1 loss to Rays, Adley Rutschman’s Orioles debut brings different feel to Camden Yards

Even in 6-1 loss to Rays, Adley Rutschman’s Orioles debut brings different feel to Camden Yards

With a crowd that had been waiting for this day for almost three years on its feet, Adley Rutschman shook hands with home plate umpire Andy Fletcher, smiling and sharing pleasantries, then stood behind home plate at Camden Yards on the dirt he will patrol for the Orioles for years to come.

Before he squatted there as a major leaguer for the first time, Rutschman took a visual lap of this 30-year-old venue. He turned around and gave a slight nod. Then, as he has since adopting catching as a child, donned his mask, bent his knees and opened his mitt.

A major league debut requires a difficult balance. Players are told to treat it as any other game, the one they’ve played since boyhood, and to savor it, which Rutschman’s look around the ballpark served as an attempt to do. His actions from there — squatting, catching, swinging, taking pitches — were in and of themselves no different than usual. But little else in Baltimore’s 6-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays in their top prospect’s first major league game was normal.

An announced crowd of 17,573, one that routinely sounded much larger than its mediocre tally, stood and applauded at every opportunity to honor Rutschman, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 draft.

When he first took the field to warm up starting pitcher Kyle Bradish, another product of this organization’s rebuild and one of its top 10 prospects.

When he trotted onto the field and took that glance around the ballpark.

When he came up for his first at-bat, with phones held aloft for every pitch, including strike three.

When he walked in his second plate appearance, with the palpable hype around him almost suggesting he could do so on water.

When he showed he can run, too, following alternating chants of “Ad-ley! Ad-ley!” and “Ad-ley Rutsch-man!” by smacking a ball into the right field corner to triple for his first hit, matching former top prospects Matt Wieters and Manny Machado in their Oriole debuts.

When he prompted more chants by, of all acts, catching a routine popup before hitting one himself in his final at-bat.

As manager Brandon Hyde said before game, Saturday’s at-bats were only a handful to start a career that will hopefully feature thousands. That they came in a loss will also not be unique.

A pair of Randy Arozarena home runs off Bradish and another from Kevin Kiermaier off Mike Baumann spoiled a night in which Rutschman not only debuted, but also caught two of Baltimore’s top four pitching prospects. The solo shot was the only run Baumann allowed in finishing the game after replacing Bradish in the sixth.

Rutschman’s triple accounted for one of Baltimore’s six hits. Trey Mancini recorded two, including a run-scoring single in the eighth.

Rutschman alone won’t turn the Orioles’ tide, Saturday showed, but his presence brought a new energy to Camden Yards, a venue that during the course of Baltimore’s rebuild has featured many droll nights.

Saturday was different. A 360-degree turn from Adley Rutschman said as much.

This story will be updated.
