Asus Launches New Phones in India: Zenfone Max 1 and Zenfone Lite L1
Asus launched two new phones in India, on Wednesday, namely the Zenfone Max 1 and Zenfone Lite L1. The phones are targeted towards the budget customers. The phones will also compete with Xiaomi’s cheaper phones, especially the Redmi 6A and Redmi 6, in budget categories, mainly under the Rs.10,000 range.
Zenfone Max 1 Specs
The phone comes with a 5.45inch HD+ display (having a resolution of 1440x720p), protected with a 2.5D curved glass. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage (expandable via microSD card). For better duration of usage it also has a large 4,000mAh battery.
When it comes to camera, the Max 1 has a 13MP lens on the rear (f/2.0), with PDAF, while on the front, there is a 8MP lens (f/2.0).
For security, the phone also has a fingerprint sensor that works fine. It runs on the Android Oreo 8.0 out-of-the-box (layered in Asus ZenUI 5).
Zenfone Lite L1
This one also has a 5.45inch HD+ display and it’s also powered by the same chipset like the Zenfone Max 1, which is Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. The battery on this one is of 3,000mAh, which is decent considering the price range.
For taking good photos and selfies, there is a rear camera of 13MP (f/2.0) with PDAF and a front camera of 5MP with flash. Although it doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, but, it does have the face unlock feature which works decently, if not very quickly.
Zenfone Lite L1 runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out-of-the-box (also layered in Asus ZenUI 5).
Price
Both the phones will be exclusively available on the online portal Flipkart and will go on sale during the upcoming Flipkart Festive Dhamaka Sale.
As per the launch deal, the Zenfone Max 1 will be available for Rs.7,499 while the Zenfone Lite L1 will be priced for Rs.5,999.
After the launch deal expires, both the phones will be priced for Rs.8,999 (for Zenfone Max 1) and Rs.6,999 (for Zenfone Lite L1), respectively.
Well, good news is for the Reliance Jio users, who will get an additional Rs.2,200 cashback plus 50GB data, on the purchase of any of the two phones.
