Yes! Nokia 9 will come with a penta-camera setup

The wait for the next Nokia flagship will get longer. It won’t be coming till next year’s MWC (Mobile World Congress) event. But it will be worth waiting for because the surprise that it will be having has already been leaked now! The Nokia 9 will come with an amazing ‘penta-camera’ setup!

As per the reports, the upcoming premium device and the successor to Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco, will be coming with a 5.9inch QHD+ display, having an aspect ratio of 18:9. And yes, being an exception to the ongoing trend, the Nokia 9 will not be possessing a notch. So, it means that it will be having a notch-less display design.

The latest leaked rendered 3D 360 degree video by the online portal, 91mobiles, confirms many things about the phone and it looks awesome. Though it’s just a conceptual video but it kind of shows the vital features of the phone’s design.

You can watch the video below to have a complete look at the phone and how it may actually come out to be. The video’s credit fully goes to 91mobiles.

Going by the video’s details, then the Nokia 9 will have thin bezels and an edge-to-edge display. The back will be solely made of glass which will be curved around the edges. But the in the video it can be seen that the phone doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor, implying that it will be showing up with an in-display fingerprint feature.

HMD which owns Nokia may keep the phone’s name as Nokia 9 PureView since it recently acquired the rights from Microsoft. So it will be going with a PureView branding.

Specs may include (since it’s not officially revealed yet), the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, or the yet-to-be-announced, Snapdragon 855 processor! And as it looks obvious now, it will definitely be coming with Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Storage may be of 128GB internally, coupled with an 8GB of RAM, while the battery capacity may be around 4,150mAh.

But the highlighting aspect of Nokia 9 PureView will be its penta-camera setup on the back, which will be using the ZEISS lenses. Referencing to the renders again, then the 5 cameras with an LED flash will be arranged in a hexagonal way that looks really cool. And it also seems likely that since it will be coming with 5 mighty cameras, they will be using varied focal lengths.

For now, you can only wait for this flagship, until it arrives during 2019’s MWC.
