Transformers spin-off movie Bumblebee is getting praised by everyone, even before its worldwide release. The movie which is set in the 80s is directed by Kubo and the Two Strings’ fame Travis Knight who’s known for his creative, and exceptional vision of filmmaking.
Early reactions and reviews for the latest film are highly positive and greatly motivating, with some critics declaring it the best Transformers film in the franchise! Online sites and rating portals have also admired the movie for its story, performances, and great action scenes.
Currently, the film holds a stellar rating of 8.4 on IMDb, while its score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes is amazing and highly unprecedented. Well, this score will come down but not much, which means that the movie will probably be having a final score of above 85% overall (going by the current reception).
Many critics have also compared it to another 80s classic and masterpiece Steven Spielberg film, E.T., for being similar in the plot execution and treatment to the two main characters and how their bond gets strong throughout the whole story. But it’s not a negative thing, but only a case of finding similarities.

Before Bumblebee, all the previous Transformers films were directed by Michael Bay, and neither of them was ever called a good film, barring the very first movie in 2007, which was also received with mixed reactions. But now, it seems that the series and also its fans, will getting a sigh of fresh breath.
Bumblebee stars Hailee Steinfeld, as Charlie Watson, the main protagonist who finds an Autobot, Bumblebee, and then they go through various obstacles and situations while also sharing a great, emotional bond together. Others actors include John Cena as Agent Burns, Gracie Dzienny, Vanessa Ross as The Mean Girl, and Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime.
The movie is directed by Travis Knight and distributed by Paramount Pictures. It will be releasing in the U.S. on December 21st, 2018.
