Here are 6 simple steps to get started selling on Amazon FBA –

Step 1: Understand the process

This step is often overlooked and many starts with the second step. However, the most important step is to understand the process. Don’t rush here. Take as much time as you need to make sure you know exactly what you are doing.

The process may generally be simple, but with the logistics, charges and various terms involved, one can easily be confused. For this reason, it is advisable to attend some online seminars, the first lesson of which you can watch for free here.

This will save you a lot of time and money because even if you make a mistake in the whole process, you will not be able to move on and will not only have to go back to the beginning but you will likely have a financial loss.

Step 2: Find the product

You may have the best idea, you have thought of a product that you believe will make sales and you want to invest in it. Don’t do it! You could do it, but the idea and what you believe is not enough if you want to make money.

There are already thousands of crazy selling products and there is a reason for that. We’re not trying to discover the wheel with Amazon. Amazon has already done all the work for us in this case as well and made our search easier by creating a separate page with the best sellers.

Step 3: Find a Supplier

After you find the product, the next step is to find someone to make this product.

There are many sites with thousands of products and suppliers where you can see all the different designs and colours for the product you have chosen and find what you think is best. You should then contact the supplier and find out information about this product, such as price, colour, MOQ (Minimum Order Quality), what modifications you can make, etc.

Step 4: Negotiate

This step could be part of the previous step, but I would like to mention it separately to emphasize its importance. There are also scammers on these sites. In seminars, give precise instructions on how to distinguish a trusted vendor from a fraudster. See here the first lesson completely free.

Step 5: Samples

Never miss this step. How can you trust a vendor who can live on the other side of the world and have never seen if you haven’t seen and tried the product yourself? What you see when you look for a product are photos, which may not even be real.

So you have to check the quality of the product and the only way is to order and try it. After you get the product and use it, ask yourself: would you ever buy this product? If the answer is no, you may need to reconsider it before placing your order.

Step 6: Register the product on Amazon and create a shipping plan

You must have a seller account before you can upload the product to Amazon. There are two different types of accounts, the professional and the personal. If you choose the business account, you will have to pay Amazon a monthly fee, while with the personal account, you will have to pay a lower cost each time you sell a product.

After selecting the type that suits you best, you must upload the product to the Amazon platform through this account and then create the so-called shipping plan. You will need a lot of information about this step, such as the address from which the products will be shipped when ready, so you should keep in touch with the supplier.

These are the basic series of tutorials to help you understand exactly, how the 2019 amazon fba business guide helps you through each step.
