Nearly 700 US veterans released an open letter pledging their support for President Trump against corporate media attacks weeks before 2020.
This week, Jeffrey Goldberg, an Atlantic journalist, published a sniper against Trump, citing so-called “anonymous sources,” who reported that Trump would not visit the American Aisne-Marne Cemetery on the website of Belleau Wood in 2018. The department alleged, without justification, that Trump called the cemetery “full of losers” and called it “suckers” to dead soldiers who died in Belleau Wood.
674 veterans wrote in an open letter that their support for Trump is high because of its record of supporting the US military and ending foreign wars initiated by its predecessors.
“Recent unfounded media assaults on President Trump from unnamed sources are yet another indication of the depths the President’s critics willing to go to to divide the country and interfere with this election,” writes the veterans.
“Anyone who knows President Trump saw his love and respect for our veterans and our military. Therefore, today we, veterans of every generation, write to reaffirm our support for President Trump.
In 2018, immediately after the President’s visit to Paris, we heard these same attacks and they are just as bogus as before. The false claims centre on the President’s canceled visit to a military cemetery, a “bad weather call” for reasons of safety and security. This was illustrated by White House emails from the time, as well as records from the United States. Navy that specifically identified the weather as the cause of the cancellation. Although the media relied on four unnamed sources to make the news, several more current and former White House officials took action, and denied these false claims in the record. These voices on the record included the President’s Secret Service Officer and John Bolton – a frequent advisor to the President – who described in his book the “bad weather call” and now insists he has not listened to the President say the stuff he has been referred to. This storey should not be taken seriously by anyone.
President Trump has consistently kept our men and women in uniform and looked after them after they have returned to civil life under his presidency. President Trump has consistently demonstrated his consistent support for America’s service workers from the ground-breaking law that offers Veterans meaningful and lasting healthcare options, to the biggest investment ever in the US Military, to his strong dedication to stopping unnecessary wars and to getting soldiers home. In addition, he has spent countless hours as president visiting battlefields and cemeteries, recognising and encouraging the Gold Stern families, and celebrating and recognising the sacrifice of wounded warriors.
Comments Breitbart.com: The veterans denounce the military and veteran record of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden, writing “The mass media hurled the groundless assault on the record of President Trump, because they know that the record of Joe Biden clearly does not hold up for scrutiny, and they want to distract the US people from it.”
The veterans move on:
The Department of Veterans Affairs under the Obama-Biden Administration was a failure and our military was deceased. Today Joe Biden is on a radical left-wing platform that will further undermine the stability of America and its place in the world. Joe Biden ‘s media friends realise he’s not deserving of support from our nation’s officials, which makes them an utter lie in a futile attempt to target his rival.
The American people have learned to disregard lies spread by unnamed sources and paraded by distorted media that are aimed at undermining the President. The persistent efforts of President Trump to reinforce and support the military community are part of his incontrovertible record. He has done more for the members and veterans of our country than any previous administration. The old majority condemns those lies squarely from the mass media, and we stand now and on election day with our commander-in-chief.

Together with First Lady Melania Trump, Trump called The Untrue Story of The Atlantic a number of White House officials were on the road. Officials are Jordan Miller, Johnny DeStefano, Hogan Gidley, Sarah Sanders, John Bolton and Dan Scavino.
“It’s been a completely false claim, and several people who were there confirmed it,” Trump said.
The story came when Trump promised to send thousands of U.S. forces to Afghanistan.
Unlike Trump, who long opposed the Iraq War and Afghanistan invasion, Biden sponsored a long list of US international interventions that sent US troops abroad with no timetable for their return to their homeland.
In the war of Afghanistan and Iraq, former President George W. Bush led the U.S., killing more than 4,500 Americans in Iraq, of which 3,500 were murdered in action. Up to 205,000 Iraqi people have died in the war since March 2003.
In all, Bush’s post-9/11 wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Pakistan’s involvement have led to the deaths of 480,000 to 507,000 civilians — almost 7,000 American soldiers in the regions.
Biden voted for the Iraq War and backed the establishment of the United States in Afghanistan. Biden also opposed the U.S. raid that killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al Quaeda, saying the threats were “too great.”
