Joe Biden said it was “crass” to track the children of a political opponent during an interview that was broadcast on Saturday.

The Democratic presidential candidate responded to President Trump ‘s attacks on his uncle, Hunter Biden, on the left-wing Pod Save America podcast.

Trump addressed a query about why he didn’t bring up how his family benefited from the presidency, which he said was achieved by Hunter.

Biden said, “It’s a particular decision, and I just think it’s a crass decision.” He went on to say, “I ‘m running against Donald Trump, not his children, and the American people want to hear about their families, not the Trump family or my family, even though I’m really proud of my family,” he said. “It’s just not the way I was taught. It’s so easy. This is Donald Trump.

Breitbart reports: Critics raised questions about the Trump family taking advantage of Trump’s presidency, with many Democrats accusing Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump of establishing conflicts of interest with their companies by keeping positions as senior White House advisors.

Ivanka Trump shrugged off the criticism, claiming that she and the other members of the Trump family built their wealth before they moved into the White House.

“His wealth, and our wealth, both collectively and individually, was generated before the administration and before anyone in our lives had run for elected office,” Ivanka told Associated Press in 2019.

“Most people are building their wealth in the post service. We developed ours before, “she said.
