40 Days of Life Pro-Life Prayer Movement Saved 388 Babies From Abortion So Far
We now know that 388 babies have been spared abortions since 23 September – with reports from local campaigns continuing to circulate.
University Station, Texas
After nearly a decade of 40 Days for Life campaigns, College Station, Texas has been free from abortion since 2013.
That hasn’t prevented pro-lifers from continuing to hold vigils, praying for women in the city who are tempted to leave town for abortion.
Even without an abortion service, the vigil is always saving a life!
As a taxi driver drove a college-aged woman and her parents past the vigil, the young woman asked, “What’s going on? Is that a protest? “No, it’s a prayer to end abortion,” answered the driver.
The young woman’s parents looked at each other and then at their daughter, who admitted that she was expected to fly to Houston for an abortion appointment just two days later.

Luckily, the cab driver was a 40 Days Life member.
He rewrote the discussion, explaining that the life ahead of her will has more joy in the gift of a boy. The expectant mother’s parents broke down crying and promised to welcome their first grandchild with open arms.
By the end of the drive, everyone in the car was in tears as the new mom screamed, “Call the doctor! I’m holding my boy! After leaving his passengers, the driver returned to the vigil and spent some time in prayer. Attleboro, Massachusetts;
“We have no chance of engaging with women,” said longtime Attleboro leader Ron.
“The clinic is located in a medical complex [and we’ve confirmed] over the years a precious few saved babies.”
But this fall, Ron and his team heard of three rescued babies in a single day! “One of the three told Angela, our new co-director, that she saw all the people praying and that she knew she couldn’t go through an abortion,” Ron said.
“We will continue to pray with continued determination for an end to abortion at this venue.”
