CNN: Parler is a 'threat to independence' and 'bad for the world'

Parler’s Social Media Site is an “evil thing for the world” according to CNN anchor Brian Stelter, who has been on the pro-free speech platform for a long time since stating that it is a “threat to democracy.”

CNN anchor Brian Stelter and reporter Pamela Brown revealed a startling lack of self-awareness – including CNN norms – in conversations about Trump’s exodus from far-left social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter.

“I think Pamela’s big picture, here’s the trend line here: people are moving more and more into their own echo chambers, more and more into their own bubbles, particularly Trump’s voters,” said Stelter, also referred to as CNN’s “house eunuch” by conservative pundit Carlson.

“Mmm, that’s what I was trying to suggest,” Brown said, nodding in approval.

“This new social networking platform named Parler is receiving a lot of traction because the conservatives are quitting, claiming they’re leaving Twitter and Facebook, switching to Parler because they think Parler is a better place for them,” Stelter said. “What we’re seeing is even more of a bunker atmosphere in the right-wing media, and essentially it’s not healthy for the world.”

Brown then gave his words of wisdom on the matter: “No it’s not nice, it’s a challenge to democracy, um, that these people are in echo chambers, and that they are literally fed a diet of lies.”

CNN’s high tech marketing comes off as a tone-deaf when one realizes that CNN, like most mainstream platforms, does not disavow and in effect, deliberately supports the relentless de-platforming of non-progressive social media views.

Such de-platforming and filtering is the only reason that many Facebook and Twitter users have left the sites seeking shelter in Gab, Telegram, and Parler.

Gab, in particular, has recently experienced an explosive rise in growth, as users dismiss the arguments of Big Tech corporate bureaucrats surrounding the 2020 presidential election:

Despite being the most blocked and persecuted alternative technology site in the Western Hemisphere, Gab explodes in popularity since the election, as consumers leave the relentlessly anti-consumer corporate echo chambers of Facebook and Twitter in massive numbers.

“As a result of our ideals of free expression, Gab has been non-platformed and blocked by 25+ service providers over the years, from all App Stores, various payment processors, hosting providers, and more,” Torba wrote in a blog post this week.

“This week was Gab’s best-performing week in our four-year history,” Torba said Tuesday. “To give you an example of how quickly we’re growing: Gab was visited 7.7 million times in all of October (up 99 percent from September), but we’ve had 7.15 million visits and we’ve been growing this past week alone.”

Needless to mention, CNN’s Stelter and Brown did not offer any additional clarification as to the “danger to government” they claim alternative technology presents to the United States of America.
