How to Steam Your Face to Stop Acne

Published

on

Jane; a college-goer, has long been admired for her beautiful since early childhood. But like everyone, we encounter problems from day to day, but now it’s Jane who has to face up to this new problem… “Acne”! She wisely chose not to opt in for medical drugs, because she knew that they were filled with harmful chemicals that would ruin her face even further. So what can she do?

Now this above story could be exactly what happened to you, or at least similar. In such a situation, you’re going to need a clear head, especially in the early stages. An age-old remedy to stop acne can be used. This treatment is “Face Steaming”. That is the most harmless thing you can do to your skin to clear away the pimples. When done correctly, and with the appropriate ingredients, you can surely remove the acne.

The positive effect of face steaming never ceases to amaze me. Your skin will feel refreshed, and look radiant. You can also do this right before an event to make your skin “awakened”.

Now there are some steps of caution that you need to take when it comes to face steaming. Firstly, although this method of opening the pores is completely safe, you should only do this once or twice a week, so that your skin will not become too dehydrated. When the skin becomes dry, your body reacts in defence of the skin, so it then produces even more oil, and that is the opposite of what you want.

Dust and dirt gets removed as well when face steaming, which is also a hygienic benefit. And as you are steaming, sweat (which contains sodium) will kill off the bacteria that causes acne. Yes! So you don’t need to worry about a little sweat, it’s actually good for the skin.

People who have asthma may find themselves struggling with this technique since it requires you to close your eyes and nose, and for the use of herbs that will be mentioned below. Remember to wash your face before and after with warm water, then finished off with cold water, to close the pores when they are clean out.

Steaming can be personalized to suit anyone’s needs. You can of course do face steaming with just water, but to have a better result, you can add special herbs to give your skin that added “glow”.

Turmeric is a great herb to add to the steamer because it rejuvenates the skin. Even the use of Holy Basil (Tulsi) and Azardirachta Indica (Neem) can work effectively on pimples and could even stop them from ever returning again. For oily skin, you should probably add peppermint, thyme, and lavender. And for those who have a more delicate (dry) skin surface, could add the above ingredients to the following: chamomile, fennel seeds, and roses.

Now for those of you who are reading this and are unfamiliar with face steaming, I will tell you an easy way to do it at home. All you need is a kettle, a pot (preferably the size of your face), a large towel, a timer, and of course… water. To begin (your face should be washed by now), set the timer for 10 minutes, and boil some water in the kettle. Once it’s boiled, pour the water into the pot. Then put the towel over your head, and make sure that it is big enough so that it hangs over the sides and front. Then move your face over the steaming pot and start the timer. Try holding your breath for 30 seconds. And when you come up for a breather; take as much time as you need to be able to hold another breath for 30 seconds. After the 10 minutes are over, pad your face with the towel, and go wash your face again. And that’s it!

Face steaming is a great way to deep clean the pores, and I’m sure you won’t regret putting it into your weekly routine.

Natural Ethnic Black Skin Bleaching Cream

Published

on

By

The use of any type of Black skin bleaching cream is popular among certain ethnic groups either to reduce or get rid of melasma, hyperpigmentation, or just for cosmetic reasons such as skin lightening. With just an easy application of the bleaching cream and without the need of booking into a clinic, the obvious benefits of this type of regimen make this an appealing option for many ethnic groups with these particular skin problems.

One of the main problems previously with a certain type of black skin bleaching cream was the use of Hydroquinone. In some scientific studies with rodents Hydroquinone has been linked to the formation of cancerous causing cells in these rodents though whether this means it could cause the similar cell deformity in humans has never been established. Fortunately now though there is a safe proven ethnic black skin bleaching cream lotion that does not use Hydroquinone or any other harsh ingredient but will still achieve the desired positive benefits through regular application.

With regard to melasma, this type of hyperpigmentation disorder can occur on any part of the body especially sun exposed ares, but generally affects the face and is more common in ethnic women. The resulting pigmentation is caused by an increase in melanin, the substance in the body that is responsible for color and can be really demoralizing for the sufferer. Melasma appears as darker, or splotchy dark discolored patches. It is also more common in Hispanics, Middle-Easterners, and black Africans.

Age spots are another symptom of increased melanin production .They are identified as flat, gray, brown or black spots. While these areas of increased melanin production are not harmful to our health, they can be unattractive or undesirable. Age spots are a very common problem, mainly to the older population. The main causes of age spots are from age, sun damage, and are are external sign of harmful waste accumulation, particularly in the liver.

Health and Wellness Coaching – What’s All This Stuff About?

Published

on

By

Several years ago, I had heard of coaching and even used a coach or two, but it was more for getting myself organized and getting my life pointed in the right direction. Like a counselor or a good friend (with expertise!), my coaches helped me to find perspective in my life and helped me get a clear view on where I was struggling. Once I could see the trouble spots, we were able to formulate a specific plan that I had to work and follow until our next meeting. At each meeting we’d review the previous one, discuss how I was coming along with my goals, troubles I might be having attaining those goals or completing tasks, and then coach on those or move on to new goals.

What I didn’t realize is that the coaching I was receiving was helping to change me on the inside and my practice was then changing, too! I was becoming a Health and Wellness Coach. Today, I’m able to consult with patients and clients, to help them realize their health challenges, coach them to set goals for improving their health and well-being, and then chart a course with them to get them to where they want to be.

Here is how I explain coaching:

Coaching is an emerging service profession based on concepts from sports, business, spirituality, psychology and organizational development. It’s for passionate people like you who want more from their personal and business lives. A coach can help you set larger, more rewarding goals, develop a strategy to achieve them, and provide support throughout the process. It’s not unlike having a personal trainer or an athletic coach… transformational, but in a business and personal sense. The achievement of goals is something that comes more quickly as a result of the coaching partnership.

With ever increasing toxicity plaguing our environment, and a food supply nearly void of nutrients, it’s imperative that we all take responsibility for educating ourselves about the basics. Why should the foods I eat be organic? Why do I need supplemental vitamins, minerals, and herbs? How does my unique body chemistry, including blood type, metabolic type, age, gender, race, and personal history figure in to my plan for achieving optimal health? Why should I avoid “wrapping myself in blanket statements” put out by the media regarding solutions to my various health issues?

When you connect with a Health and Wellness Coach, you align yourself with someone who can provide you with the answers to these and your many other questions regarding your health. You engage a professional who will help you discover all the areas of your health that need your attention, set realistic goals to achieve increased energy and vitality, and create rewards for all of your “little successes”.

Health comes from you, not to you. It must be cultivated and cared for. Results will be steady, but you must know the path to take.

So I suggest that you find yourself a Health and Wellness Coach; a person with the knowledge and skills to help you evaluate where your health lies today. Someone to set you on a path to take you where you want to be. You can self-medicate, but you likely can’t achieve total health on your own.

I urge you to take your life and your health seriously; to find someone who cares about you and can help you find the health and well-being you desire, and deserve.

Why Do You Have Fly Away Hair With Conditions Like Androgenic Alopecia and Telogen Effluvium?

Published

on

By

I recently received correspondence from someone who was trying to determine if her hair loss could be due to a condition like androgenic alopecia (AGA) or telogen effluvium (TE.) She had recently noticed a change of texture in her hair. She described this texture as one where there were many “fly away” hairs present. She wanted to know if the presence of these unruly strands meant that she could have AGA or TE. I responded that you can get these type of texture changes with both of these conditions (as well as with other medical conditions.) I will discuss why this is true in the following article.

Why You See Textural Changes Or “Fly Away Hair” With TE: As your hair grows and eventually sheds or falls out, it goes through three different stages. The hair is actively growing when it is the anagen phase, which can lasts for years. This is when hair is healthiest and is actively being nourished.

The next phase (which is often considered to be a transitional one,) is the catagen phase which lasts for a few weeks. In this period of time, the hair is preparing itself to shed. The root of the hair shrinks slightly in preparation for this. During this time, the hair probably won’t look it’s best and may take on a dull appearance (but this is only true for those small percentage of hairs who are in this phase.)

The final phase is called the telogen phase. This might sound familiar to you if you’re having hair loss because when you have TE you have an increased amount of hairs that are going into this shedding phase at one time. The hair is still in the follicle, but it is not actively growing. Normally, you have 10 – 15% of the strands on your scalp in this phase at once. But with TE, this number increases. And this is sometimes why you see noticeable changes in texture. The hairs in this stage can look different because they are not actively growing or being nourished.

If you were shedding hair at a normal rate, there likely wouldn’t be enough of these to be all that noticeable or to change your hair’s overall appearance. But when you are experiencing telogen effluvium, you can have many more of these strands and so the texture changes become more pronounced and therefore more noticeable.

Why You See Miniaturized Hairs That Have A “Cotton Candy” Appearance In AGA: Some people will tell me that these fly away hairs that we are talking about have the over all appearance of being fluffy or having the texture of cotton candy. This often lies with the fact that some of the hairs are regrowing but are being negatively affected by the same androgens that is causing the hair loss in the first place. The affected hairs can grow back more fine and thin in texture. When this happens, it’s called miniaturization. If you have many hairs or areas that are affected at once, you will often notice a lot of hairs that lay down flat because they don’t have the sufficient weight to do so.

I often have people tell me that if you pluck out a long and severely miniaturized hair and push it up against the air, you’ll notice that it doesn’t come down normally. Instead, it sort of lingers in the air and floats like a feather. This is because it just does not have the weight of a normal hair. You can usually find regular textured hair in unaffected areas, compare the two, and see a very noticeable difference.

People often ask me if I can help them to see the difference between the miniaturized hairs of AGA and the textural changes in TE. This is difficult because I don’t know what’s “normal” or “typical” for the person asking. This is often better left to the specialists and professionals, but both of these conditions can give the appearance of unruly or “flyaway” hair. Other medical conditions (especially those related to thyroid and other hormones) can also cause this sort of appearance also.

Homeopathy Treatment For Nail Fungus – Should You Go For It?

Published

on

By

Nail fungus can be a persistent and troubling condition. Apart from the socially embarrassing manifestations of the condition, the progressive nature of the disease means that patients cannot afford to ignore its impact. The use of homeopathic treatment for nail fungus is one of the highly recommended solutions in the health sector. Of course this sort of treatment has its detractors in the form of cynics who do not believe in any natural treatments for diseases. According to these skeptical people, all conditions have to be treated by either surgery or swallowing a pill.

Homeopathic Remedies Against Nail Fungus

The use of alternative treatments will provide the patient with a break from conventional methods that may not be working well. Fungus is not something that can be treated quickly. The location of toe fungus also makes it difficult for the patient to fully observe the progress of the condition. People that are diabetic may lose some feeling in the feet whereby the condition can progress for a long time without being adequately addressed. The damaged nails might need to be cut off before the new set of nails can take hold.

Using homeopathic treatment for nail fungus will be a complementary measure which is designed to work with all the other hygiene standards that patients routinely undertake. One of the methods that have been popularized involves the process of “alkalizing”. Under these measures, the patient will eat foods that have high levels of alkaline. Vinegar is by far the most popular choice. Such a solution will work for mild cases but you may require serious intervention if the condition is far advanced.

The use of vinegar will make the nails inhabitable for the fungus through the manipulation of the pH balance within the toes. The scientific community is not yet fully convinced about the efficacy of this treatment but individual patients are certainly very happy with the results that they have been able to receive so far. Odorless iodine is another treatment that is considered to be effective on the basis of anecdotal evidence. The patient might also decide to use tea tree oil.

Assessing Homeopathic Treatment For Nail Fungus

At the moment the scientific community is not yet in line with the anecdotal evidence that is presented on behalf of individual patients. Further research will need to be carried out in order to ensure that patients are given the right advice. Patients have to also be wary of the fact that there is always a risk that the infection could return. Therefore it is not enough to just treat the condition. The patient has to remove the conditions that led to the infection in the first place.

Using these alternative treatments does not mean that the patient cannot use standard medications. If the doctor is clear that there are no harmful effects from alternative treatments, then the patient should attempt such a course of action. In any event the sight of toe nails that are systematically degenerating is enough to persuade people to take action.

Skin Care Clinic – Pgmentation Treatments

Published

on

By

Main causes of pigmentation are:
· Long or frequent exposure to sun
· Ageing
· Hormonal changes that cause melanin production increase
· Genetic conditions
· Medications like anti-depressants or birth control pills.

Multiple factors including age, climate change, hormonal factors etc damage the skin and makes it look older owing to a patchy pigmentation. Though neither hyperpigmentation nor hypopigmentation are life threatening conditions by themselves, they are enough to disturb the mind of the patient as many a time along with the skin tone, their confidence too gets affected.

Pigmentation is most often seen in people who step out in the sun, exposing the skin to the harmful UV rays from the skin. The first symptoms are the dull and prematurely aged look and it is observed on body parts like the neck, back, arms in addition to the face.

Hormonal imbalance too can be a reason for pigmentation, in women this can be triggered by birth control pills or pregnancy. Medical conditions like eczema, dermatitis can also be a cause for pigmentation.

At Medlounges Express center, a preferred provider of one of the best skin care treatment in Kerala, we go the extra mile to understand the condition of the skin and offer custom designed methodologies for pigmentation treatment in Kochi.
The first step is always a thorough diagnosis by way of analyzing the skin to understand the reason for pigmentation and then only is the treatment advice offered.

For the pigmentation treatment in Kochi, the services we adopt are:

Cosmelan: This is a unique depigmentation chemical treatment using multiple ingredients to reduce skin discolouration and hyperpigmentation on specific areas of the skin. Cosmelan peel decreases the natural melanin production of the skin by curtailing specific enzymes thereby contributing to an even complexion.
This Cosmelan peel can be effectively used to improve the skin tone of face, abdomen, legs and hands. In addition to this, this pigmentation treatment can be used to rectify the discoloration due to hormonal changes and changes in skin tone due to pregnancy etc. This peel also helps balance the oil production of the skin thereby reducing the outbreak of acne.

Dermamelan: When compared, Dermamelan has similar active ingredients as Cosmelan. The difference being in the higher concentration of up to 20% and that the mask treatment as well as follow-up mandates the strict supervision of a trained cosmetic doctor. The safety margin is quite high in Dermamelan and it also guarantees the improvement of skin blemishes better than any other pigmentation treatment method adopted. A noticeable significant change is observed within almost a week and the skin starts looking more bright and rejuvenated. By the end of the treatment, almost all blemishes become a happily forgotten memory.

The 5 Forces of Wellness by Mark Hyman

Published

on

By

The Five Forces of Wellness by Mark Hyman talks about how it is possible to become biologically younger as you grow physically older. It focuses on ultra prevention, which is the process of staying healthy. This guide is designed for anyone who is interested in perfecting their health to the max.

In life, everyone tends to look back on their teenage years and their 20’s as the best years of their life. As people age, they develop wrinkles, saggy skin (practically all over the body), brown spots, yellow, decaying teeth, brittle skin, hair, and nails, and so much more. All of these ugly little details are something that no one wants to think about. In addition, you gain weight, your energy decreases, and you just don’t feel good at all.

From there, disease begins to set in. People don’t exercise because they don’t have the time nor the energy to do so. They don’t eat healthy because they can’t afford it. Instead, everyone is too busy working, trying to support their families and their way of living to focus on themselves. The Five Forces of Wellness by Mark Hyman teaches you how to effectively change your lifestyle so that you live a long, healthy, happy life.

It talks about what foods to eat to make you feel better emotionally, boost your mentality, and provide you with loads of energy. It also discusses how you should never go on a diet and how to lose weight and keep it off without every having to diet again. Another thing it talks about are what vitamins are the best for your body, and just precisely how much of them you need to function correctly and maintain a healthy immune system.

You may have noticed that you don’t feel as vibrant as you did years ago. Part of the reason why you feel the way you do is somewhat contributed to the fact that yes, you are aging. However, it is becoming more and more common to find people stricken with deadly diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes as young as their 20’s. What’s wrong with this picture? Could it be that no one takes care of themselves anymore? There are a variety of unhealthy food choices on the market. The majority of the foods that people take in today are killing them, rather than saving them and nourishing their bodies.

The Five Forces of Wellness by Mark Hyman teaches you how to identify whether or not your body is ridden with toxins and how to get rid of them. Toxins can begin the overwhelming production of free radicals. When free radicals are more abundant than they need to be, they start the disease process by breaking down the body’s cells and immune system. This make it difficult for the body to fight off illnesses. Since so many people are constantly devouring foods that are full of toxins, everyone is getting sick. However, changing what you eat is not the only cause for disease and premature aging.

There are also plenty of environmental factors that are contributing to the early death of the human race. We are living in a high-paced world, carrying tremendous loads of stress on our shoulders each day. In The Five Forces of Wellness by Mark Hyman, you’ll learn how to fix your body so that you can handle the stress that comes with everyday living, lose weight, turn back the clock, and ultimately, feel like a fresh, new individual with a new lease on life!

From Long To Short Hair: Making The Transition Easy

Published

on

By

The decision to go from long to short hair is sometimes done with a lot of thought and sometimes done on a whim. Whatever the reason, it is important to prepare for some transitioning, and to make the correct decisions with regards to your new style. Often a drastically short cut will be too short, and then you will have to wait for your hair to grow out again. To avoid this problem there are a few simple points to consider before going for the cut.

One option is to go to a medium length haircut before deciding to go any shorter. This allows you the chance to get used to shorter and shorter styles, without cutting too short the first time. Often women or men find out that medium length is just what they really wanted – long enough to pull back yet short enough to wear down and in a casual style if they want. For women that are used to the multitude of different looks and styles that can be accomplished with long or medium hair, they may find the shorter style to be a bit restrictive, whereas the medium length still gives lots of options.

If your best feature is your long hair, and that is what you feel good about and have other people recognize you by, is cutting your hair really right for you? The shorter style will be very drastic, and it may attract lots of positive or negative attention. Gradually going shorter will eliminate a lot of the stress of a cut, and allow people to get used to your new style. In addition, wearing your hair up or back for a while before the cut will help you decide if short is the look you are going for, as well as help your coworkers, family and friends adjust.

Short hair doesn’t have to mean just one style. By learning how to work with short hair you can have several different styles from casual to elegant. Try using some of the new hair fibers, muds, crèmes and other styling products to create new looks with your style. If you are unsure of how to start, try talking to your stylist and having him or her show you a few quick styles.

Your facial shape will also have a big impact on what length of hair looks best. For long faces, short hair can actually square out the face and lessen the appearance of length. Squarer shaped faces are softened and rounded with layering at the sides, but will appear more squarely shaped with the very short cuts. Bobs and blunt cuts look great on oval shaped faces, and depending on the length of the cut, different features can be accentuated. For example, if you wish to draw attention away from your cheeks try keeping the hair longer at the sides of the head, and more textured through the bang area. A professional stylist will be able to advise you on a cut that will suit your features.

Getting a short cut can help you get in style, change your traditional look, or even just do something new. To avoid any regrets, try going shorter in stages, rather than all at once. If you are not sure what you will look like with a shorter style, you can try on wigs that will help you “see” yourself with short hair, or else keep your hair pinned up or pulled back to get used to the idea. If you are getting a short cut just because it looks cute on a friend or a movie star, you may want to reconsider. If you are cutting your hair for you, and you feel that it will suit your face and busy lifestyle, then short is definitely an option.

Dr Lewinns – A Brand Synonymous With High Quality Nail Care

Published

on

By

Dr. Lewinns range of skincare and nail products are synonymous with high quality. That stems from the belief of the brand that they should make products which suit the life style of all individuals and not just focus on just the skin types. They were quick to realise that it is always the combination of the right lifestyle habits with appropriate selection of skin and nail care products that will confer the kind of skin desired by the individual.

Dr. Lewinns is one brand that has developed a range of products for men as well and these have been specially designed to ensure that they are compatible to male skin. They are wonderful products aimed at reducing ageing signs, skin irritation and any dryness that some men often face during specific weather conditions. These products are geared for high performance and have absolutely no side effects.

But it is their range of nail care products for women that we are more interested in as they have a whole array of benefits as under:

· They help restore healthy nail growth, especially those that have got damaged during nail extensions

· They totally get rid of any peeling, chipping or flaking due to their unique formulation

· The nails acquire strength and a healthy look

· They are fortified with the right concentrations of calcium and other vitamins

· You can use them both as a base coat as well as a top coat

· The packaging is a convenient double sized 30ml bottle type

So what is the one Dr. Lewinns nail care product that consumers are most happy about?

The Revitanail strengthener is one product that has attracted rave reviews from consumers who have used it. People who have had to suffer the problem of flaking and brittle nails have found great solace in this product.

Applying just two coats of this product on clean nails and repeating one coat for the next 5 days has given many people relief from weak nails. The nail polish needs to be removed on the 7th day and the entire process has to be repeated 3 times to get the best results. You can thus see visible improvements in your nail condition within 25 days. Complement this product with the Revitanail oil that has been specially formulated to provide the required nourishment and you will notice that your nails are much tougher than before.

This is a product that has been a hit in Australia and people who have used it during their stay in Australia are finding it quite difficult to adjust to other similar products found elsewhere. Such is the efficacy of the product and the consumer loyalty it enjoys.

Dr. Lewinns as a brand has been able to remain at the top for such a long time mainly because of their emphasis on high quality products that have been formulated after years of research and customer feedback. Their products are not tested on animals and are environmentally pretty safe as well.

Thick Dead Skin on Feet

Published

on

By

Calluses develop when there is too much pressure or friction against the skin. Our skin does this to protect itself from further injury. Examples of this include wearing shoes that are too tight or clothing, such as socks, that rub against our skin. Wearing high heels can also cause calluses, especially if you wear them without panty hose or any other type of footing.

Another culprit is walking barefoot. Think about it… what if you walk around on a rough surface such as pavement? What do you expect your skin to do when your feet are essentially rubbing on a rough surface? You’re going to get unsightly calluses.

Maybe your issue isn’t foot calluses but callus on hands? Or, do you have calluses on your knuckles? Many times, people get calluses on hands when they’re constantly writing – like when holding a pen for long periods of time (i.e. doing school work or if you are a writer and still use pen and paper) – or any activity that puts friction on your hands.

So, how do you treat calluses on fingers or hands? Ease up on your writing instrument. You may be holding it too hard. Next, hydrate your body. Water is essential but also use a cream to help heal your skin after you’ve exfoliated. Apply generously and often.

For foot calluses, soak your feet in warm water for about 10 – 15 minutes. This will help to soften thick calluses on your feet making it easier to remove. Once done soaking, take an exfoliator and gently rub the thick dead skin. If your calluses are especially thick, don’t expect to get everything off the first time. This is a gradual process so be patient. Dry your feet, moisturize and then put cotton socks on overnight. Repeat nightly until you notice an improvement. Then, maintain results by keeping up the regimen on a regular basis.

Further, I wouldn’t recommend cutting off calluses only because you could cause more injury. More injury means more calluses or scarring and you don’t need to add thicker skin on top of thick skin.

Take care of your feet (and hands) daily. Don’t skip skin care just like you wouldn’t skip brushing your teeth. It’s necessary to maintain good health and to feel good about the way you look. Vanity isn’t the goal here but feeling good and self confident is. Feeling good on the outside makes you feel good on the inside.

Melaleuca Wellness Company Advertising Through Facebook – Special Report on Melaleuca

Published

on

By

Congratulations for reading this article. By reading this you are completing your due diligence before joining or or venturing into Melaleuca or any home based internet marketing business. You are reading this because you have been approached by someone telling you that they have made 100,000 to 300,000 dollars online with THE HOTTEST opportunity on the web, and most likely they contacted you through Facebook.

After watching a cheesy 12 minute video on how the economy sucks and you will most likely be next to receive the dreaded pink slip and then they tell how you can Change your life; they still don’t mention the name of the company. Big RED flag when researching an opportunity!

Before I join any company I would at least like to know the name within the first minute. After moving to the second video and a few minutes through, the guy nonchalantly mentions the name, Melaleuca. I spent an hour messaging back and forth on Facebook, signing up for a cheesy webinar, on a cheesy web page with cash floating all over just to find out that Melaleuca Wellness company is online and promoting its products. Awesome.

Unfortunately the way I was approached, a personal message through my Facebook account, to check out the latest money making product on the internet was not impressive, personal, or in my opinion a professional way of marketing on Facebook or the internet PERIOD.

Facebook is used to create GENUINE relationships among like minded professionals and friends. After researching the guys who sent me the initial message on Facebook, I found NO information on Melaleuca, and no information on the gentleman personally, (besides a copy & pasted list of highly recommended books to give them a professional look).

After Reviewing the Melaleuca website I do believe that it is a very viable opportunity with products that claim to create and sustain a healthy lifestyle. In no way do I believe Melaleuca is a scam, the wellness company has been in business since 1990. Either way with the company, to create a massive income you will have to pester and bug your family, friends, and neighbors to join and get a solid team built well over the 100s. It’s just the truth.

Facebook is designed to build and endure lasting relationships, not to spam people with information on a wellness company like Melaleuca. Business partnerships derive from Facebook ONLY after two or more people have connected based on a mutual interest for each others PROFILE/PERSONAL information. Then after an initial relationship has been created would one person invite the other to join an opportunity. -Read with suspicion when your new friend on Facebook sends you a “to good to be true offer.”

IF, and I repeat….IF…the gentleman who contacted me had invested some time to get to know me and start a relationship I would be more open to the opportunity with Melaleuca. I am a fitness lover and am dedicated to eating and living healthy, However because I feel a bit violated and pushed into the opportunity based on the marketing strategies, I have been compelled to write this article.

Ultimately if anyone is truly COMMITTED to making a comfortable income from home and “living the dream life” (this takes hard work and dedication) I believe they can with Melaleuca or any other home based business for that matter, but ONLY with proven marketing strategies and tactics used by industry leaders and professionals

Proven marketing methods such as Pay Per Click, SEO and article marketing, and HONEST and TRANSPARENT Socail Media Marketing strategies that are not spammy is the only way to generate endless leads and phone calls from like minded people knocking on YOUR door to join your business, Melaleuca or not.

Overall the marketing strategy that is being used by Melaleuca’s affiliates to send pre-fashioned email messages through Facebook to sign up and watch a cheesy (yes I did say cheesy again) webinar seems a bit tacky. By utilizing the tactics they are suggesting you will ruin your Facebook image and make it more difficult for yourself to create a home based business since Social Media is becoming mainstream in today’s social and economic market.
