R&B crooner Miguel Jontel Pimentel is back on the market 3 years after tying the knot with Nazanin Mandi in 2018.
Miguel and Nazanin announced their divorce in a statement to People magazine via their publicist on Monday.
“After 17 years together, Miguel and Nazanin Mandi have decided to separate and have been for some time now. The couple both wish each other well.”

Miguel met Nanazin in 2004. Pals say she pressured him to put a ring on it. Nazanin told friends she wanted to get married and start a family before age 35, but Miguel was hesitant. She is still childless at age 35.
Miguel, 36, initially kept Nazanin a secret from his adoring female fans – which prompted rumors that he wasn’t into females.
In a cryptic post on Instagram, Miguel wrote:
“What do you desire? Have certainty and clear intention about your desire. Clarity is key. I accept and I am worthy of all I desire. Imagine how attaining that desire will bring happiness to you and those you love until you find excitement and positive emotion.”

Nazanin also shared a vague post on Instagram:
“Someone once said: ‘You know you have a big heart when you feel bad for doing what’s best for you.’ And I felt that. Angel number 1212 symbolizes your spiritual awakening in life and a great sign that you’re on your way towards your luck for love.”
Halsey looked incredible on the ‘SNL’ stage as she wore an all leather cat suit for her 1st performance of the evening. She was joined by legend Lindsey Buckingham for the 2nd.
Halsey, 27, returned to the SNL stage for the fifth time — and she proved why. The singer sounded incredible as she performed her defiant single, “I’m Not A Woman, I’m A God” in a superhero-esque leather cat suit. “I am not a woman, I’m a god/I am not a martyr, I’m a problem/I am not a legend, I’m a fraud,” she sang during the chorus, looking flawless under the lights.
For her next performance, she was joined by Lindsey Buckingham, 72, of Fleetwood Mac. The rock legend also appeared on her recent album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, playing the acoustic guitar on “Darling.” Halsey’s vocals sounded whimsical and dreamy over Buckingham’s simple guitar tune, and the two created a forever memorable moment on the SNL stage. At one point, Lindsey beautifully harmonized his vocals with her on the chorus. “Ladies and gentleman, Lindsey Buckingham!” Halsey declared at the end of the performance, clapping with the audience.
I am weeping warm salted tears. Halsey and Lindsey Buckingham!!! Magic pure MAGIC! 🎤🎼🎶Darling don’t you weep There’s a place for me Somewhere we can sleep See you in your dreams🎵- Ashley Frangipane / Atticus Ross / Johnathan Cunningham / Trent Reznor pic.twitter.com/yGE8AZi2zd
The New Jersey native, née Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, released her fourth full-length album in Aug. 2021. The 13-song project details the singer’s experience being pregnant and giving birth to her first child Ender Ridley, now 2 months old, with partner Alev Aydin. Halsey was clear, however, that the album was not intended to be about “girl power.”
“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, it’s like this is a girl power album,’ and I’m like, ‘No, it’s not,’” she said, setting the record straight. “Also, not for nothing, but the lead single is ‘I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God’ — it’s not a girl power album,” she said to Apple Music host Zane Lowe. “From the jump, I’m like, ‘I’m not a woman.’ I’m not saying any of that. There’s no girl power in this album. … Being pregnant, writing this album, people are expecting girlishness, you know what I mean? And any time where I ever talk about womanhood, motherhood, femininity, I’m usually talking about it with a taste in my mouth. Like, go be a big girl, a girl is a gun, all I can taste is the blood in my mouth,” she also said.
Halsey is no stranger to Studio 8H: the singer made her first appearance back in 2018 with her breakout single “Him & I” with G-Eazy. She subsequently pulled double duty as host and musical guest in 2019 in support of her Manic album, and again in early 2020.
Ahead of the show, the singer tased she “might skip” Saturday Night Live in favor of playing with her sweet son! “Feeling very busy playing with my baby’s chubby legs and tater tot feet might skip SNL idk,” she posted earlier in the day,” she tweeted.
Kim Kardashian nailed sister Kourtney’s personality in this sketch as she attempted to resolve a fight between Kim and Khloe, who made a 2nd cameo!
After years of spoofing Keeping Up With The Kardashians,Saturday Night Live finally welcomed Kim Kardashian, 40, to Studio 8H. The SKIMS founder became her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, 42, as the Poosh founder became a judge on a reality series dubbed “The People’s Kourt.”
“Watch as she puts her judginess to good use to solve family problems,” an announcer read over Kim making a variety of grumpy faces, much like the ones fans have seen Kourtney do over the years. “Order, order in the Kourtney! I’m good at this,” Kim as Kourt quipped, as she went on to address the fight between Kim (wearing her Met Gala face cover outfit) and Khloe Kardashian, 37.
“Kim stole my makeup artists,” Khloe alleged. “You’re in your Met Gala outfit, no one can even see your face! Ah, you’re such an evil sloor…next time you need to use the restroom, I won’t be helping you, okurr?” Khloe declared to her sister.
The announcer then returned for more on Kim’s judge Kourtney. “She doesn’t play favorites, and mostly, she just doesn’t care,” he clarified. Yikes. Next up? Kris, 65, who was suing her younger daughters Kendall, 25, (played by Halsey) and Kylie, 24 (not actually her). “I’m suing Kylie because she hasn’t had her baby yet — we have a whole marketing, PR plan and she’s costing us money,” Kris explained. “I can’t grow it faster, mom,” the faux-Kylie argued back. “Yes, you can — I had Khloe. I made her in four months. Do your keagle exercises and use your vagine!” Kris quipped.
“And mom, why are you suing Kendall?” Kim’s Kourt inquired. “I’m suing Kendall because she has absolutely no drama!” Kris replied. Arguably, Kendall does keep her personal life and relationships out of the media compared to her sisters. “She causes no drama and it’s damaging our brand,” the momager went on.
“Eww, this is so cringe – guilty!” Kim’s Kourt declared, not clarifying who was guilty. “Who’s guilty, me, mom or Kylie?” Halsey’s Kendall asked. “I don’t care, you choose,” Kim’s Kourt said. Kourtney’s boyfriend Travis Barker wasn’t off limits in the sketch, as Kim’s Kourt packed on the PDA with him for a brief interlude. Finally, Chris Redd‘s Kanye West showed up to announce he was suing Kim over tweets. “Eh fam, I’m suing Kim because people area always coming after me over what I tweet — but she haaacked me,” Kanye argued wearing a Yeezy GAP jacket in red. It turns out the tweets in question pertaining to a persian rug and the play Wickedwere by Kanye — which he fessed up to.
It’s hilarious to see the KarJenner on the show in real life, as their reality show was first spoofed back in 2009. Former cast member Nasim Pedrad went on to play Kim 13 times in various segments over the years!
Kim and her family, including sister Kourtney, Khloe, Rob, 34, Kendall, 25, Kylie, 24, and the brainchild behind it all, mom Kris, 65, wrapped Keeping Up earlier this year after 20 milestone seasons on E! “It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Keeping Up With The Kardashians. After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes, and several spin-off shows, we’ve decided as a family to end this very special journey,” the family said in a statement in Sept. 2020.
“We are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way,” they also penned.
The family announced they are creating a new series on Disney owned streamer Hulu, however, which has already begun filming. While the format of the show has yet to be announced, it will presumably be similar to what fans already know. In recent weeks, the KarJenners were spotted filming at Armenian restaurant Carousel — likely to mark the death anniversary of their late father Robert Kardashian Sr. — and shooting around New York City.
Kim Kardashian and Aidy Bryant initially swapped lives thanks to a magic clock in a ‘Freaky Friday’ inspired sketch that also included Kris Jenner and Khloe!
Kim Kardashian, 40, didn’t disappoint with her Saturday Night Live debut — and even had some family members on hand for some help! It started when Kim was having a heart-to-heart about her busy life with SNL cast member Aidy Bryant. Kim confessed that she felt she was “so busy” all the time, as Aidy appeared enamored with the reality stars’ life.
“I do have this magic clock,” Kim revealed, suggesting the two could switch lives for a day. “Wait, you want to switch places using dark magic for 24 hours without anyone knowing?” a confused Aidy inquired. After a brief spell, Kim was Aidy and Aidy was, well, Kim. The comedian was seemingly loving her glam new life as paparazzi followed her around and she filmed herself wearing SKIMS. “Are you ready to take the bar exam?” one photographer asked Aidy’s Kim, who confusingly replied, “Wait, what?” (Kim has been studying to become a lawyer in California).
During one photoshoot, Aidy’s Kim even busted out Kim’s controversial Met Gala outfit by Balenciaga — right down to the face cover! Kim has worn several incarnations of the look in recent months, including all leather versions, a red variation and a slew of outfits with the same pant-shoe leggings. Many have interpreted her new era of style to imply she’s potentially back with ex Kanye West, 44, who has a close working relationship with the French luxury label through their lead designer Demna Gvasalia. Gvasalia has also served as creative director Kanye’s recent visual listening parties in Atlanta and Chicago.
After just a few hours, Kim became increasingly bored with Aidy’s life and wanted to switch things back. After “trying to reach Kim Kardashian” as Aidy, the reality star finally caught up to the comedian sitting backstage with her sister Khloe Kardashian, 37, and mom Kris Jenner, 65. “I always wanted to have like, a famous sister and a famous mom,” Kim’s Aidy said to an adoring Kris. “Kim, you’re being so funny today!” Kris replied.
“Hey, is there any cash, that’s just like — around? That maybe I could like, have?” Aidy then asked, as Kris dug into her purse and pulled out a massive stack. Just at that moment, the real Kim busted in — but wasn’t recognized by her mom or sister. “I need my life back! Where’s that clock?” she asked. Kris then picked up the clock, but in a kerfuffle involving the three ladies, Aidy and Kris accidentally swapped spots. “I’m not Aidy! It’s me, it’s mom — it’s Kris!” Kris said, as Aidy’s Kris ordered her to be “sent to jail.”
Earlier in the day, Khloe and Kris were spotted touring around the Big Apple. The mother-daughter duo bundled up for a stroll around Central Park on Saturday, Oct. 9. While there was no confirmation about a possible appearance before the show,
HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY reported that “all hands are on deck” when it came to a possible KarJenner cameo on the show. “All hands are on deck when it comes to Kim’s family to be a part of the show, [and] ideas have been thrown [around]. [Another] idea [that has] been [discussed] is a digital short and a Keeping Up spoof,” our source said.
The KKW Beauty founder and the Kardashian clan have been spoofed on Saturday Night Live in the past, with Kim being impersonated by Nasim Pedrad 13 times between (dating back to 2009). Notably, rapper Nicki Minaj also spoofed Kim back in Dec. 2014 on “Weekend Update” alongside Colin Jost. The spoof was tied to her iconic nude Paper magazine cover dubbed, “Break the Internet.”
“Most of the show has been written. But like SNL always does, they always go down to the wire and continue to make changes and add new skits up until and after rehearsals,” our source also explained. “But her sisters and her mother have Kim’s back and are ready to help in any skit this weekend and Kim is all for it.” Recently, Kris also appeared in daughter Kylie Jenner‘s 73 Questions episode with Vogue magazine.
Kim Kardashian had a bevy of handsome men to choose from in this ‘Bachelorette’ spoof, including Tyler Cameron, Chase Crawford, John Cena and Jesse Williams!
After years of spoofing Keeping Up With The Kardashians,Saturday Night Live finally welcomed Kim Kardashian, 40, to Studio 8H. The reality star brought the laughs in plenty of sketches, including an epic star-studded version of The Bachelorette dubbed “The Dreamy Guy.” In the sketch, a blonde haired Kim — going by the name Rochelle — attempted to find her husband from a roster of handsome A-Listers including Chris Rock, Jessie Williams, John Cena, Chase Crawford, and Tyler Cameron!
“I have no doubt in my mind that my husband is in this room. In fact, I wish I could marry each and every one of you but that would be way too many husbands,” Kim, wearing a yellow dress, said on-stage to her contenders. She then called each of them up one to receive a token indicating they’ve made the next round. First up? Chase!
“Chase — I had no much fun at the go carts with you — thank you for telling me about your hit show Gossip Girl,” Kim said to him, as he nervously took the token from her. Next to make the list was former real-life Bachelorette contestant Tyler, who she thanked for his “hot body” (he then retorted that he’d see her “in the hot tub”). Chris Rock, dapper in a plaid blazer, was then called up.
“Chris R — thank you for making me watch your nine HBO specials as you sat next to me and mouthed all the words,” she said in a perfectly neutral tone. Chris accepted the token from the reality star, and noted perhaps they should “watch Chappelle next time.” Kim’s Rochelle then threw in a twist like Bachelor viewers have never seen!
“This might be aginst the rules but I really connected with one of the producers on the show. Amy S!” she declared, as Amy Schumer unexpectedly popped out! “Even though I’ve never dated a woman before, I feel…” she said, before Amy cut her off and said she had feelings, too. Finally, she chose Jessie Williams and John Cena, leaving Kyle Mooney‘s “Zeek” in the dust.
“Jessie W — I didn’t talk to you one single time this entire week, but you are the most attractive human I’ve ever seen,” she explained. “John C — you’re kind, considerate, mega jacked and very, very rich…I don’t love that you have a wife,” she pondered, referencing Shay Shariatzadeh. John agreed that was “very., very” fair as Kim’s Rochelle said she’s going to “to need you to figure out your wife situation.”
Kim Kardashian’s opening monologue was full of zingers, including a shot at former family friend OJ Simpson!
Kim Kardashian opened Saturday Night Live with a bang! The 40-year-old stunned in a barbie pink crushed velvet turtleneck and pants as she opened the show, which included plenty of zingers — including some cringe worthy ones at her ex Kanye West, 44. While she was seemingly about to announce a presidential run, she quipped she was “just kidding” because “we can’t have three failed politicians in one family” (the other being Caitlyn Jenner).
“I married the best rapper of all time. He’s also the richest black man in America who gave me four amazing children. So when I divorce him, that means it comes down to just one thing….personality,” she added, at one point adding that she’s “not a gold digger” but would ask her mom’s boyfriend Corey Gamble what that’s like. Yikes!
Towards the end of the monologue, she also reflected on the “first Black person” she ever met: her former family friend OJ Simpson. “OJ does leave a mark. Or several. Or none at all! I still don’t know,” she joked, making a subtle reference to his past murder trial involving the late Nicole Brown Simpson. Kim didn’t hold back on making fun of herself, either — throwing one joke in about her past sex tape with ex Ray J! “I only had that one movie come out — and no one even told me it was premiering. It must have slipped my moms mind,” she said near the top of the monologue.
The reality star was confirmed to be hosting the long running NBC series in September after weeks of rumors — particularly after Kim was spotted having lunch with show runner Lorne Michaels and her mom (and manager) Kris Jenner, 65, at the legendary Polo Lounge. “OMFG no turning back now!!!! LOL I’m hosting SNL!!!!!! @nbcsnl,” she tweeted on Sept. 22, including an image that also confirmed Halsey, 27, as the musical guest.
Ahead of the big announcement, HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY reported that the KKW Beauty founder had been “asked” to appear on season 47. “Kim was asked to be a host for SNL and there was even discussion of having Kanye be the musical guest for the first episode of the season,” the source told at the time. “The desire is for Kim to host and potentially have some family members take part in skits or the opening monologue. If they can’t figure it out for the season debut, they still want her to do a hosting spot sometime during the season.”
Kim filed for divorce from husband Kanye West, 44, in February after seven years of marriage. The Yeezy designer and the SKIMS founder have seemingly remained on good terms as they continue to co-parent their four kids : North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2. Kim was also on hand to support ‘Ye at his three Donda listening parties, including one in Chicago where she curiously participated in a wedding dress. Notably, the exes haven’t confirmed if they’re reconciling — but they sure know how to get fans talking.
Olivier Rousteing is no longer hiding the secret he’s been keeping after suffering severe burns from a horrific fireplace explosion that left him fighting for his life in a Paris hospital.
Beauty truly can come from pain. One year ago on October 9, 2020, Olivier Rousteing suffered horrific burns over much of his body due to an explosion in his home. The famous Balmain designer revealed on Instagram on the one-year anniversary that his fireplace burst into flames one night and by the next morning, the 36-year old woke up in a Paris hospital. In what could have potentially been a fatal experience, the fashion designer said it was only with the support of his close friends and family that he was able to keep the accident a secret for one year. Now that the story is coming to light, Olivier is healed and feeling better than ever, thanks to the continued support of friends – including a number of his famous pals.
“I did everything to hide this story from as many people as possible and trying to keep the secret with my teams and friends for too long,” Olivier said in his honest confession. “As I recovered, I just worked days and night to forget and creating all my collections , trying to keep the world dreaming with my collections and at the same time hiding the scars with face masks, turtlenecks, long sleeves and even multiple rings on all my fingers through many interviews or fotoshoots,” the designer said.
A slew of encouraging and loving messages poured in for Rousteing on Oct. 9, 2021 following his reveal. Balmain fan and collector Kim Kardashian wrote, “I love you,” with an emoji of praying hands. Cardi B wrote, “God bless you,” while Cindy Crawford simply commented with emojis of praying hands. “I’m so glad you’re safe,” Donatella Versace expressed. “You have been so strong and so positive through it all and I am beyond proud of you!!!!,” said longtime friend Kris Jenner. “I know how hard this is to share, but just know it will help so many people in different ways… your message of hope and strength and focus and love will always inspire everyone who you come in contact with… you are such a ROCKSTAR and I love you !! God is so good.”
As scary as the experience was for Olivier, he could not help but be grateful every painful step of the way. The clothing architect tirelessly thanked the hospital staff at Paris’ Hôpital Saint Louis for taking such good care of him — right in the heart of a raging global pandemic that had killed over a million people by early October 2020. Olivier added, “to the doctors and nurses at Saint Louis, and to all those who helped me during this long recovery and kept my secret : a profound thank-you. I love you. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.”
Today, you could say that Olivier is thriving. His scars have healed and he is ready to be who he is again – without shame. “Now, a year later—healed, happy and healthy. I realize how truly blessed I am and I thank GOD everyday of my life. Today, I feel so free, so good and so lucky. I’m beginning a new chapter with a smile on my face and a heart full of gratitude.”
Kylie Jenner kept a low profile while visiting a pumpkin patch with Stormi and her cousin True. She covered up her baby bump with a long, grey coat.
Kylie Jenner, 24, may be expecting her second child, but she covered up her baby bump when she stepped out with mini-me daughter Stormi Webster, 3, and her niece True, 3 — see all the pics here. The trio visited a pumpkin patch at Underwood Family Farms on October 9, and Kylie was seen rocking a floor length grey coat. She paired the structured duster with a grey mock-neck top and matching grey leggings. Her raven tresses were worn in a long sleek style and parted down the middle, as she enjoyed the Fall fun in the San Fernando Valley.
While inside, Stormi and True were seen feeding some ducks before frolicking around the farm and playing amongst the hay bales. As fans would know, Kylie recently bared her baby bump in a crop top for a mirror selfie, after revealing she’s expecting her second child with rapper Travis Scott. A source recently told HollywoodLife that Kylie is thrilled about expanding her family. “Kylie has always wanted to expand her family as she loves being a mother,” our source said. “So she is super happy to be pregnant with baby number two.” Another inside told us that “this pregnancy is bringing out something different in Travis and actually getting them closer.”
On the other side of the country, her big sis Kim Kardashian, 40, is gearing up to host Saturday Night Live. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians is set to make history as the first-ever reality star to host SNL and HollywoodLife recently learned that no jokes are off the table!“Kim is very nervous about doing SNL because she wants to really knock it out of the park. She wants to prove to herself and any haters that it was worth it for her to be asked to do the show,” a source told HL.
“One thing she has done and to put the cast at ease is that she has told them that any idea is a good idea, and they can absolutely present her anything and she is willing to make fun of herself and she has mentioned that nothing is off-limits,” the insider dished, adding, “She wants the best idea to win, and she wants to really make it a fun show. If they want to make fun of her family and have some family members on the show, she is all for it.
“We discussed having another baby. I said it was a great idea. She said, ‘Well, let’s start planning.’ So I’m like, ‘Oh my god, just pause for two seconds. I’m going to be the oldest dad at school, what’s going to happen on sports day?’” The infamous celebrity chef continued, “But it’s something we’d still consider, because it’s been such a joy spending time with Oscar. Just watching his first walks on the beach at Daymer Bay. Watching his first little mouthfuls of food. It has kept us super-active and made us better parents.”
Tana struggled to have children early on in their marriage, and was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, according to the Daily Mail. Nevertheless, she turned to IVF and has since welcomed five children: Megan, 23, twins Holly and Jack, 21, Matilda, 19, and two-year-old Oscar. Gordon noted that he’s sometimes mistaken for his youngest son’s grandfather. “You walk on the beach and there’s Oscar on Jack’s shoulders and someone says, ‘How old is your son?’ Jack freaks out and says, ‘No, this is my little brother. There’s the dad.’ They see me and they’re like ‘Oh s––.’ That’s funny, though. I can take that stuff, don’t worry.”
His wife Tana then chimed in, “Oh my gosh. Never say never,” she said. “I think I’ll want kids forever, but in all honesty, I’m just enjoying what we have and I don’t think it would be right to push my luck, because we are so blessed.” The couple, who tied the knot in 1996, have also experienced hardships. They suffered the loss of a pregnancy at five months in 2016, after Tana miscarried their unborn son, whom they named Rocky.
“Gordon was amazing, and he’s always been one to talk about everything and he was very good at sort of talking it out of me and never making me feel that, ‘Oh, you know, maybe we shouldn’t talk about it,’” she told Metro last year. The couple also talked about how quarantining amid the COVID-19 pandemic affected their family. “We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve fallen in love, we’ve fallen out of love, and we came out of it so much stronger together. There’s a level of closeness like we’ve never had before,” she revealed.
Halsey is scheduled to perform on ‘SNL’ for the whopping 5th time — but the singer teased she may not make the Oct. 9 show!
Halsey, 27, is set to return to Saturday Night Live on Oct. 9 alongside first-time host Kim Kardashian, 40 — but the GRAMMY winner says she may not make it. The singer posted the curious message to Twitter, saying she wanted to “skip” the show to play with her 2-month-old son Ender Ridley instead. “Feeling very busy playing with my baby’s chubby legs and tater tot feet might skip SNL idk,” she posted earlier in the day.
The official SNL account quickly replied to the tweet,m begging the star not to pull the trigger. “please no!!! please no!!!” they wrote back, along with an emoji reading “oh my god.” Of course, Halsey is likely joking given her long running history on the series, dating back to her 2018 debut when she sang breakout single “Him & I.”
The New Jersey native, née Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, has proven to be a favorite of show runner Lorne Michaels who invited her back for a double duty hosting and performing gig in 2019. She last appeared on the series before the COVID-19 pandemic in Jan. 2020. She is already in New York City, as well, having appeared in several pre-show promos with Kim!
Halsey’s latest appearance marks the first since she gave birth in July to her first child with boyfriend Alev Aydin, 37. Her latest album and documentary of the same name, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, both chronicle her transition to motherhood, as well as experience being pregnant and giving birth.
There’s plenty of anticipation for tonight’s episode as all eyes are on Kim for her big debut. Rumors began swirling that Kim would be potentially hosting during season 47 after she and her mom Kris Jenner, 65, were spotted having lunch with Lorne at the Beverly Hills Hotel in August. The news was confirmed via SNL‘s official Twitter account the following month.
The KarJenners are no stranger to the SNL universe, particularly Kim, who has been spoofed 14 times on the series. Kim is the first member of the family to actually appear on and host the show — and a source told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY that no jokes are off the table for her. “One thing she has done and to put the cast at ease is that she has told them that any idea is a good idea, and they can absolutely present her anything and she is willing to make fun of herself and she has mentioned that nothing is off-limits,” the insider spilled. “She wants the best idea to win, and she wants to really make it a fun show. If they want to make fun of her family and have some family members on the show, she is all for it.”
Kanye West and Anna Wintour were seen dining at Sant Ambroeus in the West Village of New York just one day after he was spotted getting coffee with former Trump lawyer, Michael Cohen
Kanye West, 44, got attention on Friday when he stepped out with Anna Wintour, 71, for a Big Apple lunch. The rapper and British journalist had lunch at Sant Ambroeus restaurant in the West Village part of New York City just one day after he made headlines for going on a coffee outing with Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen. The “Jesus Walks” creator was wearing a black blazer over a black top, black pants, and a matching baseball cap, gloves, sunglasses, and a face mask as he sat down at an outdoor table with the magazine editor, who wore a patterned top under a long dark orange coat, a tan skirt, heeled boots and sunglasses. Check out the pics HERE!
They appeared to be engaged in a lighthearted conversation as Kanye smiled throughout and sat back in a relaxing way. As they both got up to leave after the lunch, two iced coffees that were half full could still be seen on the table. It’s unclear what the power duo’s meet up was about but it could mean something big is coming up for both of them.
Kanye’s meeting with Michael also took place at a Sant Ambroeus, but the one on the Upper East Side of the city. The attorney is still technically on house arrest since being convicted of finance fraud, tax evasion and lying to Congress in 2018. Although he initially was supposed to spend time in prison, he was released in May 2020 due to Coronavirus concerns.
The New York Post reported that Michael’s meeting with Kanye was most likely able to take place because he previously got “special permission from the BOP [Bureau of Prisons} and RRM [Residential Reentry Management] to eat out.” Like the latter’s meeting with Anna, it’s unknown the reason for their meeting but everyone knows he’s praised Michael’s ex client Trump in the past.
Kanye’s most recent outings with high-profile people come at the same time his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, 40, is also in New York City for her upcoming hosting gig on Saturday Night Live. Although Halsey will be the musical guest on the Oct. 9 episode, it was reported that Kanye was actually asked to fill the position first but it didn’t work out.
“Weeks and weeks ago when they were getting Kim to do the show, they threw around the possibility of him to be the musical guest, those discussions didn’t make it very far,” a source EXCLUSIVELY revealed to HollywoodLife. “But writers like Michael Che have been throwing the idea around of him being in something. They don’t expect him to do anything, but they certainly asked.”
