When Jay-Z’s Roc Nation announced its partnership with the NFL, there were a lot of thoughts and feelings spilling over to social media. Like always, Roc Nation has a plan when they partner up with different entities.

In 2019, RocNation took care of its first Pepsi NFL halftime show, giving fans a Miami inspired half-time show with Shakira, J. Lo, and others. The show was well produced and many really had to keep their slander in the drafts. This year’s Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime show will go down on February 13th in Inglewood, California, and after 30 years without a Super Bowl in the Los Angeles area, Roc Nation is going all out.

The halftime show is being dubbed ‘DreDay 22’ as Dr. Dre will headline the show alongside Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar. This will be the first time these acts have performed together and will for sure be a show to remember. As part of the collaboration for this halftime show, Pepsi and the NFL will join together so support the launch of Regional School #1. The school is based on the USC Iovine and Young Academy founded by Jimmy Iovine and Andre “Dr. Dre” Young that will offer “a unique educational model focused on Integrated Design, Technology, and entrepreneurship”.

The announcement of the halftime also has fans questioning if Dre or Kendrick bless us with a new album by then. Hopefully so.

All seems to be going well, except for the fact that the bride-to-be didn’t tell her family that she had a boyfriend let alone a fiancé. In the first look clip below Khaneisha’s sister is furious that she did not know how serious Khaneisha and LaBarron’s relationship was. Khaneisha is struggling to understand why her sister is so upset since they do not live close to each other.

Check out the clip below to see the BAD reaction her family has after learning just how serious this “friendship” has become:

Yikes… Is Khaneisha’s sister doing too much? Or was she wrong to wait to share her relationship status?

Here’s the full synopsis of what to expect from the episode:

A couple who started as friends but then turned romantic faces backlash from the bride’s family for leaving them in the dark. And when the bride’s mother suspects larger issues, a small miscommunication quickly turns into drama.

Lindsay Ell & Everette Take Their ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around’ Cover From TikTok To The Studio

After Lindsay Ell duetted with Everette on TikTok with a cover of ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around,’ the artists teamed up to record a video of the song together — and we have the exclusive premiere!

Lindsay Ell and Everette (comprised of Brent Rupard and Anthony Olympia) have officially teamed up to release a stunning cover of Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty’s “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around.” The trio got together in the studio to record the cover, and HollywoodLife is EXCLUSIVELY premiering the video of their collaboration. Lindsay, Brent and Anthony all play guitar while singing their vocals for the track. The video features Lindsay singing solo, as well as by the microphone with the guys for a sing-along.

This collaboration came about after the artists teamed up on TikTok. Everette released a video of themselves singing the song, asking fans to “duet with [them]” on the track, and Lindsay happily joined in. Afterward, they decided to take things a step further and actually record a full version together.

“Lindsay is a rockstar,” Everette told HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “After she duetted our video on TikTok, we knew we had to take this to the next level and hit up the studio. It was an amazing moment behind the microphones getting to hear our guitars and voices together.” Lindsay added, “I’ve always been such an Everette fan. Their harmonies, their sound, it’s truly unique. When I got an opportunity to sing Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty with them, it was an absolute no brainer.”

Two Democrats Vote With GOP to Reject Biden’s Vaccine Mandates on Businesses

Two Democrats crossed the aisle to rebuke the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates on businesses with over 100 employees.

Senators Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Jon Tester (Mont.) joined all Republicans in a vote of 52-48 to pass a Senate resolution repealing vaccine mandates on private businesses on Wednesday.

Sen. Manchin had previously said he was against vaccine mandates on private businesses.

And Sen. Tester said, while he is in favor of the mRNA vaccine, a mandate on private businesses would hurt the economy.

Last night’s vote was the first congressional rebuke of Pres. Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates. He has also lost several key federal court decisions.

The House needs 218 signatures to force a floor vote, and Biden has promised to veto any Congressional effort to repeal his vaccine mandates.

Sen. Mike Braun, (R-Ind), who introduced the resolution, said Biden had no authority to impose the requirements on private businesses.

“This bipartisan vote is a crystal clear message to the @WhiteHouse: Back off, and stop this crazy federal overreach immediately,” he tweeted.
