Kim Kardashian was out in NYC rocking yet another puffy coat while prepping for her appearance on ‘SNL.’

Kim Kardashian, 40, has been rocking a ton of cool outfits lately while prepping for her highly anticipated appearance on Saturday Night Live. The mother-of-four was out in New York City on Oct. 7 when she left NBC studios wearing a massive oversized red Balenciaga Padded Leather Coat on top of a Yeezy x Gap sweatshirt.

The puffy floor-length coat covered up her entire body and she accessorized with neon pink heeled boots, a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a crystal-embellished Balenciaga Hourglass Bag. Under the jacket, you could clearly see the hood of her faded blue sweatshirt from her Kanye West’s clothing line.

Kim kept her shoes and bag from her outfit earlier in the day when she rocked a hot pink crushed velvet blacker with matching satin pants and boots. She chose to go shirtless underneath the blazer and she topped her look off with matching gloves and pointed-toe heeled boots. Kim accessorized with massive, chunky silver hoop earrings, black sunglasses, and a sparkly silver purse.

Just one day before, Kim was rehearsing for SNL when she arrived in a similar Balenciaga look featuring a pair of skintight black leather pants, a tight metallic black spandex long-sleeve top, and an oversized black leather puffy vest on top. Leather accessories including a black hat, brown gloves, and a red tote bag completed her look.

Ever since Kim landed in NYC, her outfits have been nothing short of perfect and when she’s not covered up in puffy coats, she is usually wearing some sort of spandex ensemble.

One of our favorite outfits from her was when she rocked a pair of skintight black Balenciaga Synthetic Cosmetic Pantashoe leggings with a three-quarter sleeve Balenciaga Knotted Crepe Top. The top was cinched in at her tiny waist and she added a pair of tight black gloves. On top of her outfit, she threw on a huge iridescent fluffy, floor-length Balenciaga Pre-Fall 2021 Coat that was made up of sparkly feathers.

BOSSIP Sr. Content Director Janeé Bolden spoke with “Harlem” Creator, Executive Producer and Writer, Tracy Oliver about the new show’s diversity of characters and casting process.

“For me, the diversity is across the board, even with how they look,” Oliver told BOSSIP. “That was a deliberate choice of mine and I always approach casting that way because I want to make sure as many Black women as possible see some version of themselves. You can’t really do that if everybody has the same hair texture, if everybody has the same body type, or the same height or even the same cultural background. With Grace, she’s Caribbean and I wanted to make sure she could use the Caribbean accent because on “Empire” she wasn’t allowed to. I was like I would love to embrace that because that’s so much of New York culture is Caribbean culture too. That was important, physically getting a good mix, and I really wanted them to have distinct voices and points of views with life and with Tye being queer, that was important too. A lot of shows like “Living Single” and “Sex And The City,” were like straight women and gay men. Queer women were not part of that narrative and I have so many queer women friends that it didn’t seem right in 2021 to not have a queer woman in their circle.”

Oliver also spoke about casting Whoopi Goldberg and Jasmine Guy, describing them as her 90’s heroes.

“I did not think that both of them would do the show. You go out to your dream people and you think ‘they’ll probably pass.’ But when they both said yes I was freaking out, Jasmine Guy was like ‘Calm down.’ And with Whoopi I think I cried a little bit. Actually I know I cried. It was a big deal to me. I told her, ‘You have no idea. You’re Sister Mary Clarence.’ And Whoopi laughed. She was like ‘You’re so silly.’ She was reading the scripts and she’s a comedienne so I’d hoped she’d laugh but I was like ‘Whoopi thinks I’m funny!’

Oliver also spoke about casting newcomer Sullivan Jones as Meagan Good’s love interest Jameson, noting that the chemistry between them was incredible even when they tested together online, and moreso in person!

“So much so, I reconceived Season 2 because of him,” Oliver told BOSSIP.

Now that’s a good exclusive. We’re excited to learn Jameson may be hanging in there with Camille for Season 2.

Have you guys started watching “Harlem” yet? We’re dying to hear what you think and what your favorite episodes and characters are.

The Furniture Captures A Hypnotic Vibe On New Song ‘Kontrail’: It ‘Seemed To Play Itself’

Ahead of their debut LP, experimental musicians The Furniture share an enchanting soundscape in ‘Kontrail,’ and they share how they crafted this melodic ‘vibe’ of a song.

There are a lot of ways to start your week off right. You can give yourself a few moments to stretch after waking up. You can make sure you get your favorite drink from your favorite coffee store. You can even take a reflective moment on how beauty exists in the world despite so much manufactured ugliness. Heck, you can do all three while listening to “Kontrail,” the new song from experimental music duo The Furniture. After announcing their self-titled debut will arrive on the Spanish Prayers record label in January, the group – Michael Kuhl and Matthew Pierce – have given listeners another taste of things to come. In “Kontrail,” premiering on HollywoodLife, the two craft a sonic landscape that is uplifting, invigorating, and quite captivating. ‘

“Everything from this record came from a single improvised live recording session,” the group shares with HollywoodLife. “We had no preconceived idea about anything we were going to play. Luckily though, while we were playing, we frequently felt many “a-ha” moments. But a lot of times, you’re not sure the ideas are fully worked out until you could go back and listen to the session. For ‘Kontrail,’ though, we could feel the vibe instantly. It was towards the end of our two-hour session, and we were nicely settled in by then. As soon as we heard the main loop hypnotically run its course, everything else seemed to fall where it was supposed to. It seemed to play itself.”

For those who have never heard of the group, it might be hard to pinpoint The Furniture’s sound. To know it, one must feel it, and to feel it, one must experience it for themselves. “With the improvisatory nature of our music, for the most part, it strays away from traditional song-form in favor of a more linear approach. This tends to lead the listener down their own path of discovery,” the group tells us. “But if [we] had to make an elevator pitch, [we] would say that through the mixing of analog and synthesized sounds, whether it be from objects found to ambient components, we draw our inspiration from anything between the German experimental music of the 70’s to Ghanaian drumming and to what is yet to be discovered.”

With improvisation as the driving force behind The Furniture, it means that every performance is unique and that no two concerts are alike. This may be great for the audience but in terms of recording? It could be tricky. If The Furniture thrives on improvisation, how could they pick which sounds and styles they would put down on their upcoming record? Or would they just let everything happen spontaneously?

“For the most part, the making of this record was completely in the moment,” the band tells HollywoodLife. “After we got off a lengthy tour with Cigarettes After Sex on one of their European legs, we didn’t really have many shows except for a couple of one-offs until we made this record. But, in a way, even when we don’t have anything on the books, it seems that we are preparing and anticipating for the next show or recording. We are always talking about different machines, instruments, or objects we found or sharing new music we heard that seems to ultimately find its way into our sound. [We] think that sort of mental imaging plays a big part in the preparation for whenever we play.”

One can experience that for themselves when The Furniture arrives on Jan. 28, 2022, on Spanish Prayers.

Hidden Hills Chaos: Lil Wayne Reportedly Under Investigation After A Melt Down Allegedly Ended With Him Pulling AR-15 On His Bodyguard

Lil Wayne has had horrid experiences with guns in his life, starting from childhood when he accidentally shot himself in a suicide attempt that almost took his life. Then at the peak of his career he did one year in Rikers Island for a gun that almost everyone involved said was not his.

At the top of this year, Wayne received a Presidential pardon from another gun situation which almost certainly would have put him back behind bars–but it looks like he still hasn’t learned his lesson. According to reports from TMZ, the rapper’s bodyguard is claiming Weezy F threatened his life with an AR-15 inside his home.

The bodyguard claims Weezy became irate because he felt the bodyguard was sneaking photos and leaking them to the media and told him to leave. He took a quick trip to the bathroom before leaving and that is when things got crazy and a physical altercation allegedly ensued, complete with the AR-15. The guard claims he escaped to the neighborhood guard station and called the police. Police arrived but law enforcement sources involved in the case told TMZ that cops had “issues” with the guard’s story, and noted that he did not have “any marks on his body or injuries from the alleged physical confrontation.”

The publication adds that Lil Wayne was gone when cops showed up, but police will still investigate even though they aren’t buying the story. The guard also allegedly doesn’t want to press charges so at this point, we are unsure of his motive.
