Meanwhile, her actor beau cut a smart figure in a black suit, as he sported a salt and pepper beard. The A-lister, who shares twins twins, Ella and Alexander, 4, with Amal, recently opened up un a new interview about whether he would ever run for office. “No, because I would actually like to have a nice life,” George, who famously played a politician in the 2011 film The Ides of March, told the BBC on October 8. He noted that he would prefer to spend his spare time doing “the things I love.”

George continued, “I turned 60 this year and I had a conversation with my wife and we were working a lot, as we both do, and I said we have to think of these as the halcyon years. In 20 years, I will be 80 and that’s a real number. Doesn’t matter how much you work out, what you eat, you’re 80 and so I said we have to make sure we enjoy and live these years in the best possible way.”

He certainly has been living it up, spending most of the summer in Lake Como at his home in Villa Oleandra. George first purchased the residence in 2002 as a vacation home, but after he and Amal married, the European mansion has become a second home for the family. In a January 2021 interview with AARP, the Ocean’s Eleven actor got candid about how he and his wife keep their love as strong as ever.

“Even in lockdown [during the coronavirus pandemic], I’ll write a letter and slip it on her desk, or she’ll write a letter and leave it under the pillow; I’m a big believer in letters,” George said of the classic love letters he and Amal write one another. “If it were a text, it would feel different,” George went on. “Maybe that’s a generational thing, and maybe it won’t be that way 20 years from now, but for me, somebody sat down and wrote it.”

Brock Davies Slams Lala as “Uneducated,” Shades Relationship

Pump Rules' Brock Davies Slams Lala Kent as "Uneducated" for Bringing Up Kids When Her Own "House [Was] on Fire," Reveals Where They Stand Today

Brock Davies is looking back at the drama he went through with Lala Kent on the ninth season of Vanderpump Rules.

During a new interview, Brock is taking aim at Lala for putting a spotlight on his estrangement from his two oldest kids, which she wasn’t completely knowledgable about, as her own relationship with Randall Emmett was seemingly hanging on by a thread.

“I think [Lala] was uneducated,” Brock said in a November 30 interview with The List. “Look where we are now. There was so much energy put into something else when your own house is on fire.”

Although Lala and Randall had just welcomed daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, now eight months old, when Pump Rules season nine began airing, they split months later as he was accused of cheating.

According to Brock, he didn’t have a problem with Lala bringing up his past to Scheana; he had a problem with the way she brought it to the group.

“Any one of Scheana’s friends, anyone, has a right to be like, ‘Look. He has a past and this is the past.’ It was after that point, when I spoke to her, when we went out, I was like, ‘Look. I understand you. I heard your concern. I wanted to just to let you know this is an issue that I’m dealing with.’ At that point, that’s when you needed to be like, ‘Okay, look. We spoke,’” he stated. “But then the next day to go and take what I’ve divulged to you, and then just throw it out there. That is when you went from respecting Scheana’s wishes and looking out for her to just stirring the pot.”

Despite the hardships he faced amid production, Brock said his drama with Lala has made him “a better person” because he was forced to speak of his past trauma and learned his viewpoints were “a little skewed.”

As for where they stand today, Brock said he and Lala are “very close.”

“We’re really close, and I think it’s because of the fact that she is great for Scheana to have around,” he said. “They’re moms. They’re going through the same sh-t every day together… If Lala comes for me next season for some reason, whatever. But we’re pretty good right now.”

After welcoming their daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies, and filming season nine, Brock and Scheana got engaged at their Los Angeles home.

Speaking of what he loves about his fiancée, Brock said, “I think it’s just her presence for me. How she just makes me slow down and just think outside of my own objective. She’s a good person. She [has] a good heart. She takes care of everybody.”

Also during the interview, Brock said that his favorite show is Below Deck: Mediterranean and teased a future collaboration.

“The drama is perfect. You’ve got the cabin crew for a season, but then you’ve got weekly guests that are coming in and just stirring the pot,” he explained. “I told Scheana when [my app Homebody], when we do really well, we’re going to take the team out.”

Vanderpump Rules season nine airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

‘The View’: Joy Behar Calls Out Dr. Oz For COVID Stance — He’s On ‘The Dark Side’

Dr. Oz, Joy Behar

The ladies of ‘The View’ criticized the TV doctor for comments he made during an interview with Sean Hannity, ahead of his campaign for the Senate.

It’s no secret that the co-hosts of The View are strongly in favor of people taking serious precautions when it comes to COVID-19. The women called out Dr. Oz during a hot topics discussion on Wednesday December 1, after the medical TV personality gave an interview to Fox’s Sean Hannity, where he criticized lockdowns. The women pointed out the Senate hopeful’s past controversial statements about reopening schools amid the pandemic.

In the clip from the Hannity interview, Dr. Oz, who’s running for senator in Pennsylvania, he spoke out against shutdowns amid the pandemic. “Remember the phrase ‘two weeks to flatten the curve?’ That metastasized into this incredible authoritarianism overreaching that did not necessarily make us safer. Remember they closed the parks, they shamed people about beaches. Now they’re threatening the same overreach with the omicron that you were just talking about. I think those choices should be yours—the American people’s,” the 61-year-old TV personality said.

After the clip ended, Joy Behar, 79, seemed shocked. “What happened to him? He’s gone over to the dark side,” she said. Sunny Hostin, 53, brought up Dr. Oz’s past comments about opening schools during the pandemic and mentioned that the mortality rate could be 2 to 3 percent. “Any, you know, any life is a life lost, but to get every child back into a school where they’re being educated and fed and making the most of their lives, with the theoretical risk of the backside — that might be a tradeoff some folks would consider,” Dr. Oz said during an April 2020 interview with Hannity. After the backlash, he apologized and said he “misspoke.” Sunny brought up the comments to show she was against his campaign and COVID stance. “You’re willing to sacrifice the lives of our children? Was he willing to sacrifice the lives of his children and his grandchildren?” she said.

Joy noted that while she was in shock over his stance, she did have a personal relationship with him, but mentioned that she felt like his politics were out of hand. “He’s very personally a doll. This is some political aspiration that he has that must be controlled,” she said, while Whoopi Goldberg, 66, mentioned that regardless of their relationship, she was against his campaign. “Kids going back to school deserve to be safe, and if you as a doctor and physician can’t see that, then you’re not somebody I want to vote for. No matter how much I like you,” she said.
