‘DWTS’ Recap: A Shocking Double Elimination Leaves One Celeb In Tears

Melora Hardin

Disney Villains Night ended with a heartbreaking double elimination. After the best performances yet, two celebrities were sent home on the October 12 episode of ‘DWTS.’

Tyra Banks, dressed up as a fierce Maleficent, announces right at the top of the show that there will be a double elimination at the end of Disney Villains Night. After no one was eliminated on Disney Heroes Night, DWTS will bid farewell to two celebs by the end of the night.

Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater on Disney Villains Night. (ABC)

Disney Villains Night Performances

Jimmie Allen and Emma Slater dance a jazz routine inspired by Peter Pan to Billie Eilish’s “Bad Guy.” Len Goodman says the lifts were “right in character” and admits Jimmie’s “surprising” him each week. Bruno Tonioli raves over the “badass jazz routine” that was his “strongest performance to date.” Jimmie’s already got the 2 extra points for the Mickey Dance Challenge, too! Jimmie and Emma’s scores: Carrie Ann = 9; Len = 8; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 9. Total score = 35 out of 40. Jimmie also admits his pregnant wife is 2cm dilated!

Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke are up next with a Viennese waltz to “Gaston” from Beauty & The Beast. Derek Hough admits there are still “some things” to work on, but it was an “overall great performance.” Bruno says Cody can really “work a stage.” Carrie Ann Inaba and Len both enjoyed the performance. Cody and Cheryl’s scores: Carrie Ann = 8; Len = 7; Derek = 8; and Bruno = 8. Total score = 33 out of 40.

Melanie C and Gleb Savchenko bring the intensity with their Viennese Waltz to “Once Upon A Dream” from Maleficent. Bruno tells Melanie and Gleb that their routine was “so haunting.” He loved it! Carrie Ann declares that this was Melanie’s “best dance by far.” Melanie C and Gleb’s scores: Carrie Ann = 9; Len = 8; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 9. Total score = 35 out of 40.

Jojo Siwa and Jenna Johnson stun with their Paso Doble to “Ways To Be Wicked” from Descendants 2. Carrie Ann is well aware that Jojo’s a “fantastic performer,” but she thought it was “a little hectic.” She wants “more elegance” next time. Len and Derek disagree with Carrie Ann. They both note how controlled Jojo’s performance was. Jojo and Jenna’s scores: Carrie Ann = 8; Len = 9; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 9. Total score = 35 out of 40.

Kenya Moore and Brandon Armstrong take on the Viennese waltz to “Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande. Their performance is inspired by Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs. Len admits the “technique wasn’t great.” Derek tells Kenya that she is totally fierce. He wants her to believe it a bit more while dancing. Carrie Ann points out that Kenya’s foot came off the ground, but it was still her “best dance” to date. Kenya and Brandon’s scores: Carrie Ann = 7; Len = 7; Derek = 8; and Bruno = 8. Total score = 30 out of 40.

Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach dance a stunning Argentine Tango to “Arabian Nights” from Aladdin. The lifts are insane! Derek raves that the opening and ending lifts were “iconic!” Carrie Ann says she’s “truly blown away” by Iman. Len tells Iman that this is his “best” dance yet in his opinion. Iman and Daniella’s scores: Carrie Ann = 9; Len = 7; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 8. Total score = 33 out of 40.

Melora Hardin
Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev got the first 10 of the season! (ABC)

Melora Hardin and Artem Chigvintsev dance a delightful jazz routine to “Mother Knows Best” from Tangled. Turns out, that’s Melora’s voice! Carrie Ann raves over how “theatrical” Melora was, but she thought it was a “hair safe.” Len totally disagrees. “That had wit, it had charm, it was truly delightful,” Len says. Derek tells Melora that was an “absolute clinic in storytelling.” Melora and Artem’s scores: Carrie Ann = 9; Len = 10; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 9. Total score = 37 out of 40. That’s the first 10 of the season, from Len no less!

The Miz and Witney Carson tackle the Argentine tango to “Be Prepared” from the 2019 version of The Lion King. “The men are on fire tonight,” Carrie Ann admits. Len says he “wasn’t prepared for that.” The performance was that good! Derek and Bruno point out a couple of stumbles, but they love the amount of content the routine had. The Miz and Witney’s scores: Carrie Ann = 9; Len = 8; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 8. Total score = 34 out of 40.

Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess dance the paso doble to “He’s A Pirate” from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl. Len tells Brian that he like the “aggression” that he showed, but he wants Brian to lift his diaphragm when he performs. Derek says Brian and Sharna are always “entertaining to watch.” Bruno wants to see “more firepower” from Brian. Brian and Sharna’s scores: Carrie Ann = 7; Len = 6; Derek = 7; and Bruno = 7. Total score = 27 out of 40.

Matt James and Lindsay Arnold bring the heat with their Jungle Book-inspired paso doble to “Jungle” by X Ambassadors & Jamie N Commons. Derek thinks that Matt did a “great job” but tells him not to take small steps across the ballroom. Bruno raves over Matt’s “solid” performance with “power, intent, content.” Now it’s time for Matt to refine. Len thinks that Matt could be giving him “so much more.” Matt and Lindsay’s scores: Carrie Ann = 8; Len = 7; Derek = 8; and Bruno = 8. Total score = 31 out of 40.

Olivia Jade and Val Chmerkovskiy perform a delightful jazz routine to “Remember Me (Ernesto de la Cruz)” from Coco. Bruno loves that Olivia “captured the spirit of the movie.” He also adds that Olivia “can act as well.” Carrie Ann was also “impressed with the acting.” However, she felt it was a little safe. Len, again, disagrees with Carrie Ann. “This was such a joyous performance,” Len raves. Derek declares that Olivia is a “natural born performer.” Olivia and Val’s scores: Carrie Ann = 8; Len = 9; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 9. Total score = 35 out of 40.

Suni Lee and Sasha Farber dance a wicked Viennese waltz inspired by Hocus Pocus to “I Put A Spell On You” by Annie Lennox. Carrie Ann is thrilled because Suni’s performance has finally matched her technique. Len admits Suni is “so good in hold” and wants to see more of it! Suni and Sasha’s scores: Carrie Ann = 9; Len = 8; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 9. Total score = 35 out of 40.

The final performance of the night comes from Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten. They dance a passionate paso doble to “Call Me Cruella” from Cruella. Len calls the performance a “lovely interpretation.” Derek is being a little picky this week but says it was an “overall phenomenal paso doble.” Bruno notes there was a “slight misstep otherwise it could have been perfection.” Carrie Ann raves Amanda’s performance was “powerful and masterful.” Amanda and Alan’s scores: Carrie Ann = 9; Len = 9; Derek = 9; and Bruno = 9. Total score = 36 out of 40.

A Devastating Double Elimination

Now it’s time for the gut-wrenching double elimination. The first 5 couples who are dancing this week are Cody and Cheryl, Melora and Artem, Iman and Daniella, The Miz and Witney, and Suni and Sasha. The next 4 couples who are safe include Jimmie and Emma, Amanda and Alan, Jojo and Jenna, and Olivia and Val. The last couple who is definitely safe is Melanie C and Gleb.

The bottom 3 are Matt and Lindsay, Brian and Sharna, and Kenya and Brandon. The first couple eliminated is… Brian Austin Green and Sharna Burgess. The judges have to choose between Matt and Lindsay, along with Kenya and Brandon. Bruno chooses to save Matt and Lindsay. Derek picks Kenya and Brandon. Carrie Ann saves Matt and Lindsay. It’s now tied. Len has to make the final decision. He saves Kenya and Brandon! That means Matt James and Lindsay Arnold have been eliminated! Kenya falls to her knees and begins to cry that she gets to dance another week!

Nadya ‘Octomom’ Suleman’s 14 Kids: Her Octuplets Plus 6 More — What We Know

Nadya Suleman

Nadya Suleman is known for being ‘Octomom’ but she has a whopping 14 kids in total! Here’s everything you need to know about her teenagers.

Nadya Suleman earned the title of “Octomom” after she gave birth to eight children at once. On January 26, 2009, she gave birth to octuplets and made history as the second woman to ever do so. Before the octuplets, she had six children, two of which are twins. While the mom of many children initially denied it, she later admitted that she had all 14 of her children through IVF. In fact, six of her octuplets came from six embryos leftover from her previous IVF.

In the present day, she and the octuplets have defied odds as all of them have survived and grown up to be healthy teenagers. In fact, the mom of 14, recently celebrated the 13-year-olds’ birthday with a sweet message and throwback pic of them when they were pre-school aged. Here is everything you need to know about those octuplets and her other six children.

Elijah Makai Soloman

The eldest of Nadya’s children, Elijah Makai Soloman, was born on May 19, 2001. At 20 years old, he was her only child at one point. Little did he know, he’d have 13 brothers and sisters. His mother praised him and posted a picture of him blowing out the candles on his most recent birthday. “Happy 20th birthday to my first baby boy Elijah! Despite the battles we have fought and challenges we have faced over the years, you have grown into such a kind, caring, conscientious, and humble young man,” she wrote in the post.

Amerah Yasmeen Soloman

Nadya’s oldest daughter and second oldest child Ameerah Yasmeen Soloman is 19 years old. She recently graduated high school and has a bright future ahead of her. For her 19th birthday, her mother treated her to a trip to Disneyland and a BBQ on the beach. During her Instagram post dedicated to her daughter, she highlighted the 19-year-old’s big personality. “Sharing more pics than usual to lightheartedly show the discrepancies in Amerah and my personalities lol,” she wrote. “guess which one of us is the gregarious, outgoing extrovert? And who is the socially awkward, painfully shy, introvert, avoiding the sun like it’s COVID?”

Joshua Jacob Soloman

Nadya’s second-oldest son and third-oldest child Joshua Jacob Soloman is 18 years old. She has noted on multiple occasions that JJ values his privacy and tries to respect that as much as possible. That’s why she posted a throwback pic in honor of his birthday. “Happy 18th birthday to my second oldest son Joshua,” she wrote in the caption. “You have grown into a highly intelligent, self-motivated, hard working, responsible, and respectful young man (despite being the ONLY non vegan in the family 🤷🏻‍♀️). You are a rare and unique individual, with the most sardonic sense of humor of anyone I’ve ever known. I love you more than words can express. You are loved and appreciated by us all. I respect your choice to remain private, and always will.”

Aidan Soloman

Aidan Soloman is Nadya’s fourth child. The 16-year-old was diagnosed with Autism and she has been an advocate for him ever since. She has spoken out about how she wants an inclusive environment for him just like the rest of her children. She also opened up about the hardships he has gone through.”Aidan, who is severely autistic, is not too happy on his day of dental surgery. Poor baby doesn’t understand what’s happening to him 😥…Please send your prayers,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Calyssa Arielle Soloman

Calyssa Arielle Soloman has a fraternal twin named Caleb. At 15 years old, she is already finding her strengths. Her mom recently showed off her “artistic abilities” on Instagram. She showed off a beautiful watercolor painting of a sunset setting behind a green hill. Her mom also recently attributed her as “hard-working” and a good student at school while adding that she’s an animal lover and close to her cat Penelope.

Caleb Kai Soloman is fraternal twins with his sister Calyssa. The 15-year-old also leads a private life and doesn’t have much of a presence on his mom’s social media. However, it’s likely that he’s close to his twin as well as the rest of his 13 siblings.

Nariyah is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old is already quite talented. Her mom recently posted a song that her daughter wrote showing that she has the potential to be a future songwriter. “Nariyah is a natural and passionate song writer, and has written nearly 20 songs independently,” she wrote. “This song is called ‘Pouring Down,’ which she describes as cognitively reframing a negative or challenging situation, experience, event, or emotion into a positive perspective. Hope this makes you smile.”

Isaiah is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old leads a private life aside from the cameos he makes in Nadya’s pictures in all of the octuplets. Based on the picture, it seems like he enjoys spending time with his other siblings his age.

Maliyah is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old has a kind heart and based on her mom’s Instagram posts, has a potential future in being a chef. Nadya has uploaded a number of her creations including a recent batch of chocolate pancakes with yummy peanut butter. Not to mention, they were vegan!

Jeremiah is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old is another one who doesn’t have much of a social media presence. However, based on pictures, it seems like he loves having fun with his same-aged siblings.

Noah is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old is not only close pals with their cat Penelope but he has a special talent. Noah seems to be the musician of the family as Nadya complimented him on a job well done at a concert. He posed holding a violin as Nadya wrote,  “Be proud of yourself Noah on your beginning strings performance! You were wonderful.”

Josiah is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old seems to love the spotlight and may be the future actor of the bunch. Nadya uploaded an adorable video of Josiah’s big moment in a play that he was in and his stage presence is just too adorable. “Couldn’t help but share Josiah’s solo part in the OC play,” she captioned the video.

Jonah is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old may be the future nutritionist in the family. Look at him holding that humungous piece of lettuce! If he ate all of that himself, then he definitely is going to grow up strong and healthy.

Makai is one of Nadya’s octuplets. The 13-year-old seems to have a heart of gold. He’s best buddies with his older brother Aidan and Nadya often documents their relationship, calling Makai Adan’s “guardian angel.” In another post, she explained the nature of their tight-knit relationship. “Makia is so connected to his big brother Aidan (who has severe autism and is cognitively one and a half)…watching them together fills my heart like nothing else, ” she captioned the post.

Erika Jayne Reacts After Garcelle Beauvais Unfollows Her, Sutton Unfollows Erika as Well Amid RHOBH Filming

Erika Jayne Reacts After Garcelle Beauvais Unfollows Her, Plus Sutton Unfollows Erika as Well Amid Filming on RHOBH Season 12

Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke have unfollowed Erika Jayne on Instagram amid filming on the upcoming 12th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

With just weeks of production remaining on the new episodes, things between Garcelle and Erika appear to have soured, as has the relationship between Sutton and Erika, who feuded on and off throughout season 11 due to the legal drama Erika was facing and continues to face.

Upon searching through the accounts Garcelle and Sutton are currently following, Erika is nowhere to be found on either account.

RHOBH Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke Unfollow Erika Jayne

After news of Garcelle and Sutton’s Instagram move began to circulate on social media, Erika caught word of the drama and responded to Garcelle’s decision to unfollow her in the comments section of a post shared by Bravo Housewives on Instagram.

“TROUBLE IN THE 90210?” the fan account asked. “Garcelle has unfollowed Erika on Instagram as [RHOBH] filming winds down!”

“Well me unfollow her back,” Erika replied.

While Erika may have plans to unfollow her RHOBH castmates back, she hasn’t done so yet.

As seen in the screenshots below, Erika is still following both Garcelle and Sutton.

RHOBH Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke Are Still Followed by Erika Jayne

Although it is unclear what happened between Erika and Garcelle, Garcelle admitted earlier this month that she and the new housewife, Sanela Diana Jenkins, didn’t get off on the best foot.

“We got a new girl,” Garcelle shared on The Weekly Scoop with CJ. “Diana Jenkins… Her and I — We hit a bump. That’s all I can say.”

Luckily for Garcelle, however, her time with new “friend” Sheree Zampino has “been fun.”

Also during the interview, Garcelle shut down rumors of drama with Sutton, saying, “Sometimes [Sutton and I] may have quarrels, but nothing everlasting… We’re good.”

As for what happened between Erika and Sutton, it wouldn’t be too surprising to hear that Sutton has been asking more questions about Erika’s legal turmoil. After all, she didn’t hesitate to do just that amid season 11.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 began filming in October and will air on Bravo sometime later this year.
