If you have been paying attention to the world of pop culture and sports, you already know Kyrie Irving has been dominating headlines. His decision to not get vaccinated, despite the Nets’ stance on not letting him return until he does so, is seen as silly by some and brave by others.

On October 13, Kyrie took to Instagram live to spew a word salad of opinions that backs his stance on not getting the shot while being hyped in the comments by anyone looking for just a drop of social media clout.

“I am doing what’s best for me. I know the consequences here and if it means that I’m judged and demonized for that, that’s just what it is,” Irving said. “That’s the role I play, but I never wanted to give up my passion, my love, my dream just over this mandate.”

“It’s about choosing what’s best for you. You think I really want to lose money? You think I really want to give up on my dream to go after a championship? You think I really just want to give up my job?”

The baller also revealed that he’s not retiring and this whole thing is “bigger than him,” but not how you think. Not that it’s bigger than him and we should all fight to end the pandemic, but we should respect unvaccinated and vaccinated people’s opinions. Yet, unvaccinated people are dying and spreading the virus unknowingly at higher rates.

With the logic of Kyrie and people like him, the stalemate in this pandemic will just continue for longer and longer. Very interesting take for someone at home with a newborn, but clearly, his mind is made up. You can watch his full Instagram live below.

Rihanna Models Sexy Plaid Lingerie Set With Back Cut-Out By Savage X Fenty – Photos

Rihanna showed off her new ‘Tied Up Tartan’ collection that featured a new twist on sexy with an unexpected cutout to show off her derrière.

Rihanna, 33, is back with another sexy Savage X Fenty look. The “Umbrella” singer’s latest line, dubbed the ‘Tied Up Tartan,’ offers a ‘bad gal Riri’ spin on casual ’90s plaid with a bikini style top ($32.95) and backless long pant ($49.95) to show off her derrière. Rihanna looked flawless as the modeled the ensemble, throwing over a boyfriend style button down ($64.95) in the same material that featured a collegiate style logo.

The short videos were shared to Savage X Fenty‘s Instagram account on Nov. 27. At one point, she swapped the shorts for the backless long pants, giving the camera a flirty look as she danced to music in the background. The Fenty Beauty founder looked flawless with her signature glow, likely thanks to the brand’s immensely popular highlighters. She also added a dash of color with a hot pink under eyeliner and matte pink eyeshadow. Finally, she completed her look with gorgeous long braids.

“Only the Tartan should be Tied-Up this szn,” a post read on Savage X Fenty’s account on Nov. 23. “Grab the Tied-Up Tartan collection while it’s still around,” the message also read, showing both the blue and black versions, as well as a yellow and black plaid.

Rihanna’s lingerie label launched back in 2018, and has been known for their daring cuts and styles that promote body inclusivity. “I am a savage so everything I do is gonna be savage. Savage is not about looking sexy, it’s not about the product — it’s all about you,” the GRAMMY winner said to Elle magazine back in 2018, ahead of the first fashion show on Amazon Prime. “It’s all about how you feel. You cannot fake sexy, what you need to do is find it. Clear all that negative shit out, get to your sexy, and own it — that s*** is yours,” she also said.

Hailey Baldwin, Pharrell Williams and more shared touching pics and words about fashion designer Virgil Abloh after it was announced he passed away at the age of 41 from a private battle with cancer.

Some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities are speaking out to honor Virgil Abloh after his shocking passing. Hailey Baldwin, Pharrell Williams, and more stars expressed sadness and looked back on sweet memories with the talented fashion designer just minutes after it was announced he died at the age of 41 after a long private battle with cancer. Some of the posts included lovely pics while others left an impact with just words.

“Virgil completely changed the way I looked at street style and fashion, the way he looked at things inspired me deeply,” Hailey began her post, which included several pics of Virgil standing beside her as she tried on her wedding dress, which he designed. “I will never be able to fully express how grateful I am to have known him and worked with him, from walking on his runways to having him design my wedding dress and all the other amazing moments in between, I felt he was always rooting for me. He was someone who always brought life, charisma, love and fun to any situation, and every room he walked into. A once in a generation creative mind that is so rare and I’ll never forget his impact. We love you Virgil. 🤍”

“My heart is broken,” Pharrell wrote in a tweet. “Virgil you were a kind, generous, thoughtful creative genius, your work as a human and your work as a spiritual being will live forever, Sending love and light to your wife, children, family and day ones, you’re with the Master now, shine.”

Khloe Kardashian also shared white dove and broken heart emojis after the sad news went public, and Odell Beckham Jr. showed his support by writing, “I wish we lived in a world where we could celebrate the living instead of celebrating them when they leave. Rest In Peace to my brother Virgil ! You were loved.”

Alexis Ohanian also shared a message along with a screenshot of a text message he and Virgil had just a few days ago. “Damn. Gutted. @virgilabloh is gone. He just texted me a few days ago… still —just a week ago— pushing me to focus on passion. The world lost an amazing talent today. I had no idea what he was fighting. Please don’t squander your time. I’m trying to do better myself,” he wrote.

“So sad to hear about passing of Virgil Abloh an inspiration to so many and of course an inspiration me. Sending my love to his loved ones,” singer Finneas also shared.

The tributes come after Virgil’s passing was announced on his own Instagram page. “We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved Virgil Abloh, a fiercely devoted father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Shannon Abloh, his children Lowe Abloh and Grey Abloh, his sister Edwina Abloh, his parents Nee and Eunice Abloh, and numerous dear friends and colleagues,” part of the post read.

‘Crying Myself To Sleep Every Night’: Rico Nasty Opens Up About Struggles On Playboi Carti’s ‘King Vamp’ Tour

Rico deserves so much better!

No matter how larger-than-life celebrities appear to be, they are very much human. Life on the road is difficult even when the thousands of people in the crowd are adoring fans. On Saturday night, Rico Nasty took to Twitter to vent about the strain of being mistreated and disrespected night after night opening for Playboi Carti on the King Vamp Tour.

“I dead a** need at least two hours out of each day. To just cry,” she wrote in the now-deleted tweets. “Crazy how I wanted a tour bus my whole life and now I just be on the tour bus crying myself to sleep every night.”

Fans and friends were even more concerned when Rico also tweeted, “I wish I was dead just as much as y’all do trust me…Y’all win.”

Despite the massive tragedy that happened at Astroworld Fest a few weeks ago, there seems to be no effort to control the crowds at these shows as they’ve been seen verbally and physically abusing Rico during her performances. Tour attendees have made a habit of booing Rico, chanting for Carti to come out while she’s still in the middle of performing.

It’s hard enough to tolerate the constant disrespect, but it’s escalated to throwing bottles at her on stage. JT also called out that disgusting behavior earlier this month.

Carti brought Rico onstage during one of his performances last week to hug it out, but he still hasn’t publicly said anything to defend Rico or condemn his fans for mistreating her on tour. Meg Thee Stallion, Kehlani, and “Money” collaborator Flo Milli have posted loving messages for the artist online.

Fans also responded to Rico’s vulnerable and concerning tweets with an outpouring of love and support, noting that she has more than enough talent, hit songs, and amazing performance skills to headline her own show.

Maybe we do need Rico in an all-women line-up with Megan, Kehlani, or Flo Milli because this current situation is unacceptable.

We love you, Rico! Keep your head up, sis.
