Stephanie Mills says she should have married Michael Jackson to protect him from music industry influences.

Stephanie, 64, posted a photo of herself with Black Michael. The image is one of many photos taken of the friends together.

Stephanie captioned the image: “Michael and I should have married. I would have protected the beautiful one.”

There were rumors that Stephanie had a crush on the late pop icon in the 1980s, but they were never romantically linked, according to insiders.

Stephanie’s song “Home” from The Wiz soundtrack was a Number 1 U.S. R&B hit for her. The song was performed by Diana Ross in the 1978 film adaptation of The Wiz.

Sandra Bullock looked glam in a sparkly jumpsuit at the New York premiere of her drama film, ‘The Unforgivable.’

Sandra Bullock put her best fashion foot forward at the premiere of her film The Unforgivable in New York on Tuesday, Nov. 30. The Oscar winner, 57, stunned in a sheer sparkly jumpsuit as she arrived on the red carpet, finishing the look with a black blazer and clutch purse.

The star wore her hair down in light waves, rocking a smoky eyeshadow and subtle pink lip to celebrate her new thriller drama, where she stars as Ruth Slater, a woman released from prison after committing a violent crime. Upon her release, she sets out for redemption and searches for the sister she left behind.

Viola Davis, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Linda Emond, and Aisling Franciosi also star in the film, slated for a December 10 release on Netflix after a select November 24 theatrical release. In a recent interview with Q’s Tom Power on CBC Radio on Monday, the actress said she’s “never doing a drama again” after taking on the gritty role of the ex-con.

“I just want to do my comedy. I’m going back to comedy,” Sandra quipped. “And I’m going to fight for it and I’m going to enjoy it.” The actress lamented the fact that comedies generally receive less acclaim than serious dramas. “I guess making someone cry is far more important than making them laugh,” Sandra said.

The former rom-com queen, beloved for roles in The Proposal, Miss Congeniality, While You Were Sleeping, and Two Weeks Notice, among others, maintained that comedy films aren’t as easy as they look, thank you very much. “It really requires a village to make comedy work, at least for me,” Sandra said. “I need a great partner opposite me to play ball with.”

That’s not to say the actress isn’t skilled in non-comedic films, having starred in Bird Box, Gravity, and, of course, Speed opposite Keanu Reeves. Sandra recently revealed that she’d like to do one more Speed film with Keanu — in the form of a comedy, that is. In her former co-star’s profile with Esquire, Sandra pitched a “bookend of Speed” where the two play “funny old people.”

“We can be 75 — it’ll be even better then, like an old-people Cocoon thing,” Sandra told the magazine. “We [can] play two funny old people. A road trip. Just put us in an RV as old people. It’ll be the bookend of Speed! We’ll just be driving really slowly. Pissing the world off. There’s our movie.”

Larsa Pippen is returning to ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’ for its fourth season on Peacock, and she’s not afraid to talk about her fallout with the Kardashian family on the show.

Cease and desist? Not for Larsa Pippen! The former Kardashian BFF — who’s returning to The Real Housewives of Miami for its long-awaited fourth season — is unafraid to discuss the drama that went down with the high profile family. “Larsa will openly be discussing the Kardashians on Real Housewives of Miami,” a source close to production EXCLUSIVELY shared with HollywoodLife. “She wasn’t afraid to be open and honest about what happened. She isn’t afraid of them either.”

The insider went on to reveal that people have made the 46-year-old aware the family “may fire off a cease and desist,” but she ultimately “doesn’t care what they think of her” or what she’s willing to spill. “She wanted to share her side of the story and she felt she was honest about it. She’s excited to be back on the show,” the source added.

Larsa famously used to be close with the Kardashian family until there was a major fallout between them a couple of years ago — the details of which have never been truly discussed. For the upcoming season of RHOM, however, Larsa — who starred in the original iteration of the series — is ready to dive into the details and reveal what really happened between she and the Kardashian clan.

Fans got a taste of the Kardashians being name-dropped in the trailer released on Tuesday. In the trailer, Larsa is verbally attacked by one of her cast members in an argument where her former bestie, Kim Kardashian, is mentioned. “You left this group of women. You come back with a butt as big as Kim Kardashian’s, trying to become the new Kim Kardashian — which you’re never going to be,” one of the Housewives says.

RHOM has been off the air since 2013, but Peacock decided to revive the series with a new season premiering on Dec. 16. The cast features returning wives Larsa, Alexia Echevarria and Lisa Hochstein, with newcomers Guerdy Abraira, Dr. Nicole Martin and Julia Lemigova. Former Housewives Adriana de Moura and Marysol Patton and newbie Kiki Barth will also be featured.

Selena Gomez Claps Back At Troll For Criticizing Her Drinking Joke After Kidney Transplant

A social media user criticized Selena Gomez for her joking about heavy drinking after getting a kidney transplant. Then the actress fought back.

Selena Gomez didn’t find one fan’s comment about her drinking very funny. The drama all began when the Only Murders in the Building actress posted a funny reaction TikTok to Dr. Dawn Bantel’s description of what constitutes “heavy drinking” for men and women. “The CDC defines heavy drinking as 15 or more drinks a week for men,” Dr. Dawn explained as Selena jokingly raised her eyebrows. “And 8 or more drinks per week for women.”

Although the “Ice Cream” singer captioned the video by saying, “it’s a joke,” some TikTok users didn’t think her take on heavy drinking was very funny.

“So one of your best friends gives you her kidney and you continue to drink excessively,” a user wrote. “Damn Selena.” After the person wrote in the critique, the 29-year-old clapped back, “It was a joke ass.” Following Selena’s response, numerous fans came to her defense, with one writing, “The fact you need to say that this is a joke [pleading face emoji]…I love you.”

In Sept. 2017, Selena announced she had received a kidney transplant from her friend, Francia Raisa, 33, while battling lupus. In an interview on Today during that time, Selena shared how her pal saved her life with the organ donation. “I guess I got to the point where it was really, kind of, life or death,” she shared. Since her surgery, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer has advocated for kidney donations, using her platform to call out controversial jokes about the subject.

In August 2021, the pop star called out the show The Good Fight for joking about her situation, writing, “I am not sure how writing jokes about organ transplants for television shows has become a thing but sadly it has apparently,” she shared. “I hope in the next writer’s room when one of these tasteless jokes are presented it’s called out immediately and doesn’t make it on air.” Moreover, fans came to Selena’s defense when the Saved By the Bell reboot also made light of the subject, leading the network to issue a formal apology.
