Lawyers are hoping to uncover unaired footage of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that will help them with their lawsuit against Erika Jayne and Thomas Girardi.
After Bravo producers were served a subpoena on Wednesday, attorney Jay Edelson spoke out about the legal move, claiming he believes the footage the network has relates to his lawsuit against Erika and Thomas, which accuses the now-estranged couple of embezzling $2 million from family members of plane crash victims.
“We believe that Bravo has hundreds of hours of unaired footage, as well as documentary evidence, which directly relates to this case,” Jay told Fox News. “So far, Bravo has chosen to use the Girardi embezzlement scandal to increase ratings and make significant money for itself.”
“The victims have had to endure watching the Real Housewives cast do things like eat caviar pie and drink specially-made vodka served by white-gloved staff as they pay lip service to the lives Tom has ruined,” he continued. “The victims have watched Erika cry crocodile tears as she is ‘forced’ to move into a $10,000-a-month apartment while she and her glam squad parade around in a lifestyle few of us will ever know.”
When Jay and his team filed a lawsuit against Erika and Thomas at the end of last year, they accused them of divorcing in an effort to protect their assets. Months later, Fox News obtained court documents that suggested Thomas was more than $100 million in debt — and that he had allegedly transferred $25 million to Erika’s business, EJ Global LLC.
As his statement continued, the attorney demanded Bravo to “stop protecting” the RHOBH star.
“We are hoping that Bravo changes course and decides to stop protecting Erika and its own bottom line and not make a bad decision to impair our investigation and help us recover much-needed money for the victims,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Erika’s lawyer, Evan Borges, told the outlet that he hadn’t yet seen the subpoena and slammed the legal move.
“The subpoena sounds like a fishing expedition or desperation move if it is directed at Erika,” he shared. “I keep explaining that there is no hidden treasure, which we have supported by providing counsel for the bankruptcy trustee with all relevant bank account and financial information in Erika’s possession.”
“There’s only a small amount of additional information that I need to provide to the trustee, which, along with everything else we’ve provided, shows that Erika’s divorce filing was for legitimate reasons, and she has been trying to make it on her own,” Evan added.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 reunion begins Wednesday, October 13, at 8/7c on Bravo.
The popstar showed off an interpretative dance set to JT’s ‘Blue Ocean Floor,’ and wrote that she’s excited for the New Year.
Britney Spears was radiant, as she danced along to her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s 2013 song “Blue Ocean Floor” in a new Instagram video on Monday November 29. The “Toxic” singer performed flowing dance moves along with the atmospheric and calming track. She also danced to a snippet of Billie Eilish‘s “Ilomilo” towards the end of the clip, where she looked like she was having so much fun.
In the clip, Britney, 39, looked gorgeous in a white crop top with a red snake design on it, and based on the caption, she seemed excited to show it off! She also wore yellow short-shorts with red flowers all over them. She seemed like she had a great time after the holiday weekend and was looking forward to what 2022 has in store. “I wanted to feel graceful yesterday …. I’m on a diet for a while …. after gobble gobble day,” she wrote in the caption. “So excited for the New Year.” Throughout the caption, Britney also asked for people’s opinions on fasting, and mentioned how she felt like it was difficult but rewarding. “I like challenges they bring value,” she wrote. “What do you value in your life and how do you want to do better as a person in the future?”
Britney and Justin, 40, dated for three years from 1999 until 2002, after originally meeting as cast members of The Mickey Mouse Club in 1992. Justin publicly showed support for his ex in June 2021, amid the singer’s conservatorship battle, and he called for her to be released. “Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right,” he wrote in a tweet.
Justin’s support for Britney came months after he also released a statement apologizing to Britney and Janet Jackson in February 2021, when he received criticism for not publicly supporting the two women. ““I specifically want to apologize to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson both individually, because I care for and respect these women and I know I fail,” he wrote. More recently, a source close to the singer revealed to HollywoodLife on November 23 that he “would love to talk to Britney if Britney wanted to talk to him.”
Beyoncé teased a bizarre ad for her fifth Adidas x Ivy Park collection titled “HALLS of IVY.”
The retired pop singer promoted her previous collections by sending gift boxes of clothes to a plethora of her celebrity friends. But that caused resentment amongst celebs who felt left out of the campaign.
This time she took her marketing in a different direction by focusing on young adults and children who look like her own.
According to the Ivy Park website, the Adidas x Ivy Park collaborative line is “Crafted with every shape and person in mind,” and “features silhouettes for all genders, with sizes ranging from [XS] to [4X].”
The color palette is a departure from the previous collections’ bland monotone colors. The new line features a variety of vibrant colors, sequins, knits, faux leather, plaid and houndstooth patterns.
The bizarre sports-themed ad features Beyonce and her daughters, Blue Ivy and Rumi; NBA star James Harden, Kobe Bryant‘s daughter, Natalia Bryant, and a mixed cast of adult and child models and athletes.
The fifth Ivy Park collection launches exclusively on adidas.com on December 9, and in stores worldwide on December 10.
Question: Has anyone seen Bey’s Ivy Park line in stores or on anyone who isn’t a celebrity?
Jen Shah’s clothing designer Koa Johnson made an explosive allegation against his former boss.
On a new Hulu documentary, “The Housewife and the Shah Shocker,” Koa discussed Jen’s heated outburst. He claimed his former boss “threw a chili bowl” at him. According to his story, Jen was upset because she wasn’t prepared for the season 1 reunion.
In the documentary, Koa also stated: “Every scene, she’s screaming. And in real life, there are moments when she’s always screaming.” He then added, “She’s actually worse off-screen.”
Koa claimed that Jen eventually stopped paying him. “The last paid compensation I got from her was in September 2020,” he said. “But I worked for her all the way up to January. As far as my other co-workers, they made it known to me that they were not being compensated as well.”
After Jen berated him, the fashion designer decided to stop working for her. “At that point I was so exhausted. I was not sleeping,” he said. “In Polynesian culture, we argue, we scream at each other. But it comes from a loving place. When I got yelled at [by] Jen, there was nothing for me to really learn. It was not going to get better at a certain point, no matter what I did.”
Koa went on to say, “I think that crossed a line and a boundary for me. I just decided to get a one-way ticket to Hawaii and I left.”
The same documentary revealed footage of Jen’s audition tape, as she bragged about her luxurious lifestyle. “We live in a gated community . . . I probably spend at least 50 grand a month,” she said. “There are like 20 pieces of luggage when we travel and like maybe 17 of them are mine.”
JEN SHAH’S HUSBAND SHARRIEFF SHAH SALARY REVEALED!
In the clip, Jen’s husband Sharrieff Shah commented on her spending: “My wife’s shopping habits can be in and of themselves a daily source of my drama.” The experts in the documentary claimed Sharrieff, an assistant football coach, couldn’t make that kind of money alone. “As an assistant coach, he could make a nice, reasonable six-figure salary, but $50,000 a month? You don’t get that salary,” said Kelley Carter, a writer for the Undefeated.
Jen, however, claims to be a successful businesswoman, bringing in her own income. The Bravo star pleaded not guilty to the charges, and will head to court in March of 2022.
