“Davion is a timeless artist,” said Lena Waithe. “He isn’t afraid to be vulnerable in his music. And that’s why he stood out to myself, Albert, and Tebs as an artist we wanted to sign. He’s been a fantastic collaborator and we can’t for everyone to hear what we’ve been cooking up.”

“Sometimes is for those of us who give our best and still get knocked down. It’s a reminder that we’re not alone,” said Davion Farris. “This song is about strength in vulnerability. It’s OK to acknowledge that in certain moments, you’re not OK.”

However, fans say “Sometimes” is an ode to the new Black male who is in touch with his feelings and finds strength through weakness.

Randall Sends Sweet Texts to Lala Kent After Cheating Claim

REPORT: Randall Emmett is Sending Flowers and "Sweet Texts" to Lala Kent in Hopes of Winning Her Back, How is the Vanderpump Rules Star Responding?

Lala Kent‘s ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett, is reportedly trying to win her back after allegedly being caught with two other women at a hotel in Nashville.

Following a social media scandal, that resulted in accusations of infidelity being thrown at the film producer, the Vanderpump Rules star is allegedly receiving flowers and sweet texts from her former partner as he attempts to woo her back into his life.

“Randall is devastated,” an insider revealed to Life & Style magazine in a recent issue. “He’s doing anything he can to get back in her good graces, sending flowers and sweet texts. Lala is done, though.”

After a man believed to be Randall was seen walking with two women to a Nashville hotel in October, Lala was seen checking out apartments and, ultimately, she confirmed on her and Randall’s previously joint podcast, Give Them Lala, formerly Give Them Lala… With Randall, that the two of them had split as an insider told PEOPLE she was “completely blindsided” by the breakup.

“I just never thought that my life would be where it is right now,” Lala admitted on November 10. “There’s moments where I have pits in my stomach and I’m like, ‘I need God to take over right now because it’s too much.’ [But] you have to be grateful for every experience.”

One week later, Randall confirmed on the podcast that he would be “stepping back” from his hosting role but would “still be part” of the business side of it.

“Lala and I have a beautiful, beautiful baby in Ocean, and I’m always going to be private,” he added.

Although Randall may be doing his best to win Lala back, a Hollywood Life source agreed with the Life & Style insider last week, saying she isn’t interested in giving their relationship a second chance.

The rug was pulled out from under her completely, and everyone around her was completely shocked,” the insider shared. “She thought he loved her. She will never go back to him again. She’s done for good and never have another discussion about it. It’s a wrap.”

Vanderpump Rules season nine airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Bizzy Bone Tries To Fight Three 6 Mafia During Verzuz, Frustrated Swizz Beatz Reacts & Drops New Rules

Last night Verzuz featured the first fight we’ve seen on stage after Bizzy Bone did exactly as we expected him to, leading to Swizz Beatz to implement new rules going forward.

Last night we finally got the long-awaited Bone Thugs N Harmony and Three 6 Mafia Verzuz match up. As soon as the battle was announced respectfully we all knew Three 6 Mafia was going home the winner but it was going to still be a good time. The energy to start was amazing but early on in the show, Bizzy Bone felt he was being mocked and threw his microphone and a bottle of water which started an onstage scuffle.

Bizzy has an open history of battling with his mental health which he touched on in his 2001 release of his single Schizophrenic and Three Six rapper Gangsta Boo kept screaming for him to “take his meds.” As far as what set Bizzy off he thought he was being mocked but we believe it was just drunk rambling from Three 6 that he took personally.

Regardless of what happened early on the rest of the show went off flawlessly and with a star-studded guest list that put every other Verzuz to shame. The fact we saw Project Pat and La Chat perform “Chickenhead” in 2021 while rocking back and forth is a moment in black history. Lil Wayne, Lil Flip, Terrence Howard, Lil Jon, Chamillionaire, Wiz, 8 Ball, MJG, and others also attended.

Now that the event is over, Swizz Beatz is reevaluating the rules to make sure no tomfoolery will happen again like last night. This is smart because the entire event was almost ruined and we almost didn’t get to see such an epic battle. You can take a look below at some of the new rules Swizz cooked up in the comments on the fly like a true entrepreneur.

As far as the next Verzuz the streets are alleging that T.I. Verzuz Lil Wayne is next up.
