Last week, a story about a rape on an elevated SEPTA Market-Frankford train in Philadelphia went viral.

According to Upper Darby Police, a homeless man raped a barely conscious woman on board an El train – while riders pulled out their cell phones to callously record the scene.

“I can tell you that people were holding their phone up in the direction of this woman being attacked,” said SEPTA chief Thomas Nestel III at the time.

“We want everyone to be angry, disgusted, and to join us in being resolute in keeping our system safe. We need the public to notify us when they see something that seems to be unusual.”

Police arrested Fiston Ngoy, 35, who listed a homeless shelter in Philadelphia as his last address.

If you wondered why no video of the incident had surface online, you’re not alone. It turns out that no such videos exist.

In fact, according to Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer, some SEPTA riders may not have even known what was going on.

“There is a narrative out there that people sat there on the El train and watched this transpire and took videos of it for their own gratification,” Stollsteimer said at a press conference on Thursday. “That is simply not true. It did not happen. We have security video from SEPTA that shows that is not the true narrative.”

The police also said no one called them during the rape incident. That was also a lie. Someone on the train did call police, who arrived and pulled Ngoy off of the victim.

Anger and outrage exploded on Twitter.com on Monday.

Philly mag journalist Ernest Owens wrote: “And there you have it: The police lied big-fucking-time.”

Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker’s Kids Will Be ‘Included’ In Their Wedding Party

Kourtney Kardashian & Travis Barker’s Kids Will Be ‘Included’ In Their Wedding Party

When Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian tie the knot, the whole family will be there! HL has EXCLUSIVELY learned that their kids are acting like a ‘blended family’ and will be part of their wedding.

One can expect a lot of punk rock to be played at Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker‘s wedding reception. The two dressed up as Sid & Nancy for Halloween, and Kourt, 42, has shown she’s a fan of The Misfits, but perhaps her new favorite song is “We’re A Happy Family” by The Ramones? After all, Travis, 46, and Kourt’s kids have become the best of friends since the blink-182 drummer and Keeping Up with the Kardashians alum started dating. The couple is even planning to have them involved in their upcoming nuptials. “All of Kourtney’s children and both of Travis’s are going to be included in their wedding party,” a source close to the Kardashians tells HollywoodLife, “as this is what they both want.”

“Kourtney and Travis are digging their blended family,” the insider tells HollywoodLife. “Kourtney has developed a bond with Travis’s kids and is starting to treat them like her own.” This love goes both ways, as the source says that Travis’s son, Landon Barker, 18, has “become a role model to Kourtney’s boys,” Mason Disick, 11, and Reign Disick, 6. Travis’s daughter, Alabama Barker, 15, has “already become a big sister figure to Penelope [Disick],” the insider adds.

Travis’s stepdaughter, Atiana de la Hoya, has also become close to Kourtney. She has been included in family vacations, and on Nov. 28, Alabama posted a few photos of her, Kourtney, and Atiana matching in black, puffy jackets. Travis shares Alabama and Landon with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. While he and Shanna were married, Travis bonded with Atiana, Shanna’s daughter from a past relationship with Oscar De La Hoya.

“Kourtney has known Travis’s kids for years because they all grew up in the same neighborhood,” a KarJenner source tells HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY. “So, it really wasn’t their relationship which brought Kourtney and his kids closer. It’s the fact that it gradually happened over time, which makes it all that more authentic and organic. As everybody knows, Kourtney is an incredible mother, and she’s so good with children. They always come first in her eyes. Kourtney really didn’t have to try to build a bond with Alabama and Landon. The connection was mutual. She loves them like her own. “

While Kourt and Travis’s kids have bonded, the same can’t be said about her and Travis’s ex. Shanna, 46, has been shady towards Travis and Kourt’s relationship, and so, Travis and Kourt have instituted some rules to keep the peace. “They do not talk about Shanna at all, and neither of them wants to. Kourtney is not the type of person to bad mouth Shanna in front of her children,” the insider says. “Travis has made up a rule for the kids, which is that they are not allowed to discuss anything that goes on between their father and Kourtney with Shanna. They have agreed to this.”

Austen Kroll Talks Possible Relationship With Ciara Miller

Winter House’s Austen Kroll and Ciara Miller Say “Never Say Never” On Romantic Relationship, Plus Austen Says He's "Happy" for Ex Madison LeCroy

Attention Winter House fans, this hot tub hasn’t grown cold yet! Although the two are “currently single,” Southern Charm star Austen Kroll hasn’t ruled out rekindling the flames with his current Winter House co-star, Ciara Miller.

In a new interview with People, Austen stated, “Yes, we are both single.” But he added that the two are still in touch, saying, “You never say never. Craig [Conover] thinks I’m going to end up with her.”

Even more telling is the fact that Ciara has apparently visited Austen in Charleston, SC, after filming for Winter House wrapped.

“It was great to see her and reconnect,” he told the mag, adding that the Summer House star did not film for Southern Charm.

Bravo fans will remember that on the very first night of Winter House, Austen and Ciara instantly had a connection that sent them both running to the hot tub for a steamy rendezvous. As the show has progressed, they have even gone on to casually date. However, it seems the timing just wasn’t quite right as both Austen and Ciara have confirmed they are currently not together.

However, it seems Ciara, like Austen, hasn’t closed the door completely.

Ciara recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight, saying, “I genuinely liked [Austen]. I still kind of have these feelings towards him.” She also added that she “had a lot of fun” on her trip to Charleston, SC.

“He definitely grew on me in the most positive way. There were so many moments where I felt like I could trust him, and feeling safe and secure is something that’s so important to me. That definitely catapulted me really liking him,” she continued.

So, what exactly was the catalyst for the potentially temporary fizzle between Austen and Ciara?

Could it possibly have anything to do with the “love triangle” that played out between Austin, Ciara, and Lindsay Hubbard on Winter House?

Lindsay previously told Page Six, “We’re just friends at the moment. Because we have had some sort of romantic history and because we are such close friends, I think the wires get crossed and lines get blurred a little bit.”

Before becoming entangled with Ciara and Lindsay, Austen was in a nearly three-year relationship with a fellow Southern Charm star, Madison LeCroy, who announced her engagement to her boyfriend, Brett Randle, after six months of dating. Austen seems to have moved on and holds no ill-will towards his ex as he expressed nothing but the best for the two.

“I’m happy for her. She has a son that she has to think about. She wants a family and I think she’s accomplished that, or trying to,” he said. “Good luck to them.”

Racist White Ex-Cop In St. Louis Given Light 1 Year 1 Day Sentence For Beating Black Undercover Colleague During 2017 Protests

This is one of the “blue lives” that matters? Tuh.

For several years now we’ve seen people take to the streets to protest unjust brutality in the aftermath of a violent and viral incident with police. The sad irony is that we’ve seen many people be assaulted and brutalized by the police while they are protesting the type of abuse that they are being subjected to. Cops just generally don’t do a great job of reading the room.

According to a report on Buzzfeed News, a white ex-cop in St. Louis, Missouri has gotten off with a slap on the wrist for his violent offenses but there’s a kicker. The person who 37-year-old Dustin Boone assaulted was also a cop! During a 2017 protest that resulted from the acquittal of ex-cop Jason Stockley in the killing of Anthony Lamar Smith, a Black undercover police officer was brutally beaten by Boone and another officer named Randy Hays. Boone pinned officer Luther Hall to the ground and allowed Hays to savage him with a baton. The white officers believed that Hall was a protester. Guess that’s all it takes to be assaulted with a weapon.

Prosecutors in the case asked that Boone be sentenced to 10 years in prison. His defense attorneys asked for a little over 2 years. US District Judge E. Richard Webber decided both were obscene amounts of time and tapped Boone of the wrist for 1 year and 1 day that way he would be eligible to get reduced time for “good behavior”. The injuries and PSTD that Luther Hall suffered got him a $5 million settlement from the department which is great, but for his attacker to get a calendar year’s worth of time is insulting…as hell.

During the trial, prosecutors released mounds of evidence proving that there was no “good behavior” in Boone’s body. For example, he sent the following text to another officer on the force during the times of protest.

“But it’s gonna be a lot of fun beating the hell out of these s**theads once the sun goes down and nobody can tell us apart,” he wrote in one message.

In another text, Boone referred to Black folks as “F***ing ni**ers” while talking to another officer. Yet, despite all that, the judge only saw fit for 366 days of “punishment.”
