Jenna Dewan is going to be dancing herself down the aisle when the time comes to marry Steve Kazee, but the Step Up star has unfortunately put wedding planning aside the last two years due to the pandemic. As life starts to open up once again, Jenna partnered with the number one resource for all things weddings, The Knot, to design her own, sustainable wedding invitations and discuss her own wedding plans. “We are very much in the planning process,” Jenna told HollywoodLife.com in an EXCLUSIVE interview about her big day. “It has of course been a crazy last two years with COVID and we had our baby, Callum, so there is no rush for us but we are definitely planning and I will for sure be using The Knot!”
Jenna and Steve welcomed their son, Callum Michael Rebel Kazee, in March 2020 and she has her 8-year-old daughter, Everly, from a previous marriage. “They have to be in the wedding! Evie has told me a million times, she will be very upset with me!” The Resident star laughed. “They will obviously be incorporated and involved and that will most likely be the grounding element of whatever we decide to do on our day — whether it’s destination or small or large, we’re working on all the details. But, our family will be absolutely involved.”
Jenna gushed that “the second” she gave birth to Everly, and then again to Callum, “everything fell in line” for her. “They were the most important thing above anything else, and everything else fell in support of that. Work, what I say yes or no to, how I plan my days. There’s a deepening and a priority change that happens when you have kids,” she explained. “I’m all about making sure that you also have your own purpose and you own life and give to yourself, but at the same time, I realize that these little beings are the most important things in the world to me.”
One thing Jenna has been hard at work on are her exclusive, sustainable wedding invitations for The Knot. “I have loved The Knot for a long time — I think it’s the most incredible one-stop shop for all things weddings and celebrations, and for such a special day, to be able to offer this sustainable option that can be gorgeous, chic and beautiful, as well as being great to the earth, was really exciting to me,” she told HL of the collaboration. “A lot of times, the sustainable options feels complicated or expensive, or it’s not your first thought and what I loved was, in creating these, we can show that it’s affordable, it’s also beautiful, and it can capture that whimsical, magical feeling that everybody wants on their special day.”
Jenna’s ethereal, earthy invitation suite is called Bohemian Hoop and are currently available for customizing and purchasing exclusively on The Knot Invitations.
This is one of the “blue lives” that matters? Tuh.

For several years now we’ve seen people take to the streets to protest unjust brutality in the aftermath of a violent and viral incident with police. The sad irony is that we’ve seen many people be assaulted and brutalized by the police while they are protesting the type of abuse that they are being subjected to. Cops just generally don’t do a great job of reading the room.
According to a report on Buzzfeed News, a white ex-cop in St. Louis, Missouri has gotten off with a slap on the wrist for his violent offenses but there’s a kicker. The person who 37-year-old Dustin Boone assaulted was also a cop! During a 2017 protest that resulted from the acquittal of ex-cop Jason Stockley in the killing of Anthony Lamar Smith, a Black undercover police officer was brutally beaten by Boone and another officer named Randy Hays. Boone pinned officer Luther Hall to the ground and allowed Hays to savage him with a baton. The white officers believed that Hall was a protester. Guess that’s all it takes to be assaulted with a weapon.
Prosecutors in the case asked that Boone be sentenced to 10 years in prison. His defense attorneys asked for a little over 2 years. US District Judge E. Richard Webber decided both were obscene amounts of time and tapped Boone of the wrist for 1 year and 1 day that way he would be eligible to get reduced time for “good behavior”. The injuries and PSTD that Luther Hall suffered got him a $5 million settlement from the department which is great, but for his attacker to get a calendar year’s worth of time is insulting…as hell.
During the trial, prosecutors released mounds of evidence proving that there was no “good behavior” in Boone’s body. For example, he sent the following text to another officer on the force during the times of protest.
“But it’s gonna be a lot of fun beating the hell out of these s**theads once the sun goes down and nobody can tell us apart,” he wrote in one message.
In another text, Boone referred to Black folks as “F***ing ni**ers” while talking to another officer. Yet, despite all that, the judge only saw fit for 366 days of “punishment.”
Christopher Andersen’s new book details drama between Prince Harry and Prince William, including when the siblings allegedly clashed in 2017 over Harry’s fast-moving romance with Meghan Markle.
Prince William and Prince Harry got into it a few years ago over the latter brother’s relationship with Meghan Markle, according to American journalist Christopher Andersen‘s newly published book, Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan. Christopher, 72, writes that, according to a palace insider, the royal siblings were having drinks at Kensington Palace in September 2017, when William, 39, expressed concern over how quickly Harry, 37, was moving along with Meghan, 40. “Kate [Middleton] and I think Meghan seems like a lovely girl, but why rush things? Does she really know what she’s getting into? Take whatever time you need to really get to know this girl,” William allegedly told Harry, per the book.
William’s comments did not go over well with his little brother, Christopher’s book claims. Harry allegedly didn’t appreciate William using the term “this girl” to describe Meghan, despite Harry apparently saying that about the former Suits actress before, including when they did their first official interview as a couple with BBC. Harry, as Christopher describes, “resented William’s presumptuous attitude” during their conversation about Meghan, and he quickly lashed out at his big brother.
“Who the hell do you think you are, brother?” Harry said to William while “rising to his feet,” according to the book. He allegedly added, “I’m marrying Meghan, and nothing and no one is standing in our way,” before walking away from his brother and out the door. William, meanwhile, “discarded the idea of asking” their dad Prince Charles, 73, to weigh in on the Meghan-related drama, as the Prince of Wales (and heir of the monarch) “had no stomach for laying down the law where Harry was concerned,” the book claims. Roughly two months after this alleged fight occurred, Harry and Meghan announced their engagement to the world. Since then, the now-married couple has moved to the United States with their two children, after stepping away from royal life at the beginning of 2020.
Drama between Harry and William has been circulating in the press for years now, and it really blew up when Harry and Meghan sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a tell-all interview in March 2021. The Duke of Sussex confirmed that his relationship with William, as well as Charles, had been tense since he and Meghan made the decision to leave the U.K. Harry also said that his elder brother was unable to “leave that system,” meaning the British throne. As for Meghan, she called out the royal family as a whole for allegedly not offering her any assistance after she confessed to having suicidal thoughts.
Since that bombshell interview, Harry has spent very little time with his family back in the U.K. He saw them for Prince Philip’s funeral in April, and then for the unveiling of a statue of his mother, Princess Diana, in July. However, he still has not publicly revealed where his relationship with his brother and father stand in the months since the Oprah interview aired.
