A PLANE made an emergency landing in the middle of a road in California, hitting a car.
Officials closed the streets of San Marcos after a small plane crashed into the intersection.
All of the passengers on the crashed plane were rescued by the San Marcos Fire Department said.
Photos on social media show the crashed plane standing in the middle of a street as rescue workers surround the scene.
A viewer posted a video on Instagram showing the damage and saying he saw the plane as a car.
“Two people on the plane is okay,” he said in the comments.
“Elderly lady and young child in car appear shaken but unharmed.
“I think they’re just a little scared,” he said of the two passengers in the car.
The onlooker said he sped to the scene when he saw what appeared to be a propeller plane flying toward the street.
The emergency landing took place at the intersection of South Rancho Santa Fe Road and Melrose Drive.
The San Diego Sheriff’s Department will close the streets, firefighters said.
