SEVERAL shootings in Baltimore, Maryland this Saturday killed two people and injured four others – including teenage girls aged 15 and 16.
A 47-year-old man who was shot in the head early in the early hours of Saturday morning was the first report for the Baltimore Police Department, according to The Baltimore Sun.

The BPD said they found the man when they responded to a call about disorderly conduct at around 12:30 am
It came from the Crown gas station on Block 4100 of Frederick Avenue in Irvington, where the victim died from gunshot wounds at the scene.
There has not yet been an official police report of a suspect’s arrest, so anyone with information should call 410-496-2100.
Then, around 1:10 a.m., law enforcement responded to a call about another shooting in the Ellwood Park/Monument neighborhood.

Three teenagers, a 17-year-old boy and two girls, ages 15 and 16, were found at the scene with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, according to the BPD.
They were immediately rushed to the hospital and little information has been released as to what exactly happened.
Those with information regarding this case are urged to call 410-396-2422.
It didn’t end there, as BPD received a third call around 2 a.m. early Saturday that an unresponsive man was near the 3400 block of 7th Street.
Upon arriving at the scene, police reported the man “sat on a curb, slumped down, and suffered from gunshot wounds.”
He died from his injuries before being taken for medical treatment.
Then police would respond to a call at a nearby hospital around 11 p.m. Saturday about another shooting involving a 29-year-old man, Fox News Baltimore reports.
The man told law enforcement that he was “walking in the area of York Road and E. 39th Street when he heard gunshots and realized soon after that he had been shot.”
Anyone with information regarding this particular situation should call 410-396-2455.

This series of Saturday shootings is sinister because just a day earlier, on Friday, July 22, Baltimore marked its 200th homicide of the year with the death of a 52-year-old man after he was shot.
With just over 5 months left in the year, this is certainly an alarming crime statistic for the BPD and Baltimore citizens as it moves on.
