The Summer I Turned Pretty's second season will finally release on Prime Video on Thursday, July 13. Whether or not you've read the novel, the trailer already foreshadows another season full of turmoil.
After the events of season 1, Belly (Lola Tung) finds herself at odds with Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) and Conrad (Christopher Briney), so expect a season full of themes of mourning, maturing, and, of course, youthful love. Both of her brothers are still fighting for her affection, and although Belly tries to sift through her emotions, external forces like Susannah's (Rachel Blanchard) recurrence of cancer and a threat on the Cousins Beach house will make her put those emotions aside and fight for what she wants.

Season 2 will also feature Rain Spencer as Belly's best friend Taylor, Sean Kaufman as Steven, and Jackie Chung as Laurel, the mother of Belly and Steven. Others include Lilah Pate, Summer Madison, Jocelyn Shelfo, David Iacono, Minnie Mills, and Colin Ferguson.
