Indian-origin On September 8, Friday, the British prime minister Rishi Sunak will arrive in Delhi at 1:40 pm. Union Minister for State Ashwini Kumar Choubey would welcome him. Sunak thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi before he left for India. I commend Prime Minister Modi's leadership over the past year and think it's good that India is taking the lead on the international stage. It was revealed on Wednesday that Sunak's Indian relatives had organized a lavish welcome for him in New Delhi.
PM Fumio Kishida of Japan
Following Sunak, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will arrive at Palam Air Force Station at 2.15 p.m. as another well-known leader. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, the MoS, will also welcome him. Kishida is currently in the nation for the second time. In March of this year, he traveled to India for two days. According to PM Modi, the two leaders covered the focus areas of their respective G-7 and G-20 presidencies "towards making our planet better" as well as the complete gamut of India-Japan relations.
Joe Biden, US President
On Friday at 6:55 p.m., US Vice President Joe Biden is scheduled to arrive. He will be greeted at the airport by MoS Gen (retd) VK Singh. As president, Biden will be traveling to India for the first time. After Jill Biden's Covid-19 test result, there was significant uncertainty as to whether or not Biden would be able to attend the summit. After his test results came back negative on September 6, the US President was granted the go-ahead to go.
PM Justin Trudeau of Canada
At 7 o'clock in the evening, Justin Trudeau, the prime minister of Canada, will fly into New Delhi after Biden. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, the MoS, will welcome him. As the operations of Khalistani separatist groups in Canada have increased, the bilateral relationship between India and Canada has become strained. New Delhi wants Ottawa to stop this development.
Premier Li Qiang of China
Premier Li Qiang will arrive in China at 7.45 p.m. to represent China since Chinese President Xi Jinping will not be attending the meeting. The absence of Xi from the G20 Summit has led to suspicion that China is trying to make a statement that it would not accept a world order dominated by the West. Jinping's absence was downplayed by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who claimed it was "not unusual" and had no bearing on discussions to establish a consensual communique at the summit.
